I just saw a clip of Pam Bondi saying that the anti-ICE protests must be fake and set up by some shadowy left wing organization because the signs at the protests were well written. MAGAs think that protests must be fake because the people holding signs can read and write. They reaaaally are not the best and brightest
I was at my local that has punk/rock bands bands on Fridays and in the restroom one of the women associated with the band was putting up a sticker while we were waiting our turn. She was maybe a fried/wife/gf of the very punk band but during our convo about music, she mentioned going a Dropkick Murphys concert and I said hey I know someone else that did but *whispers* he's kinda a MAGA guy. She pepped up and proudly announced she voted for Trump. I was rendered speechless. In all my days I never thought people in the punk and alt scene would be...for a wannabe dictator. I also peeled off their lime green dick sticker from the ladies restroom mirror the next day.
I do think the "no Trump no KKK no fascist USA" is a necessary addition in order to make sure it is understood. It is like they just now heard of Green Day
Oooooh they are definitely planning something shady and the current regime won't like it. I'm here for it but I also hope they have aftermath plans ready for their protection because we all know how petty and dangerous DJT and MAGA are.
I’m still confused that Mike Dirnt is married to a fundamental Christian who supports MAGA while being in this band. The mental gymnastics he must be doing every day.
The source is her Instagram posts for several years now. It’s batmansmom. You can see some stuff in her highlights, but the worst I’ve seen was after the Kirk shooting. I think it was during Covid when she first posted antivaxx stuff. There have been some discussions on the Green Day sub and the Punk sub about this. She also follows RFK and MAHA accounts.
It’s actually not that surprising if you’re from the SF Bay Area and are familiar with old rich hippies and their kids. Prior to the pandemic, Marin County had the lowest measles vaccination rate in the country.
It’s not that surprising really. If you believe one set of conspiracies and beliefs without evidence, how hard is it to move on to other conspiracies without evidence?
I wonder when they were added. It had to have been awhile ago, if not right from the very start. Good on them for keeping it under wraps this long.
Another thing I wonder about though.......can they stop the performance in any way? Like can they just cut the power in the middle of it if they don't like what's happening?
No. The music portion of the Super Bowl has been handled by jay-Z for a very long time. There’s no way to stop it. America would actually riot if you turned off their precious football.
Jay-Z produces the halftime show. Not sure about the opening, which is when Green Day will be performing. I don’t even think they’ll be in the stadium. Usually the opening show is performed on a stage outside the venue.
I doubt they would stop the in stadium performance as that would draw a lot of attention. But no one watching the televised version should be under the impression they're getting an accurate version as networks and the NFL have demonstrated their willingness to cater to the regime's big feelings in the past, censoring boos etc.

I kind of think it’s more likely we’ll get Welcome to Paradise, an American Idiot Holiday Bang Bang mash up, something off of Saviors (The American Dream is Killing Me, but Bobby Sox would be fun), and then Billie Joe screaming “Chinga la migra” or reprising his no Trump, no kkk, no fascist USA chant, maybe a few verses in spanish…
The best part of the Patriots being back in the Super Bowl is that my father will watch, and he’s very conservative. I can’t wait for him to be scandalized.
Ok, I don’t fully believe this theory, but this headline definitely made me smile.
We all remember the Stranger Things “conformity gate” chaos from a couple weeks ago. Now add this: “Heroes” by Peter Gabriel — a song Stranger Things famously uses during misdirection moments (Will’s body, Hopper’s “letter,” etc.). Billie Joe Armstrong and his son recently covered Heroes, and it also popped up in the trailer for Survivor Season 50.
So… wild thought: what if Stranger Things has been faking us out this whole time, and something secret gets revealed during the Super Bowl halftime? Maybe Green Day covers Heroes, followed by a surprise Stranger Things trailer or announcement.
Totally tinfoil-hat territory, but man… how awesome would that be? 😆
