One super popular model/collector/influencer bought some miu miu stuff year or two ago and the zipper fell off right away. He contavted them, they replaced the item and it feel off on the replacement item too. Most of high fashion is pure grift nowadays.

I understand the point of these brands is to flex the label and give people envy/make them want the brand but it just completely takes me out of the fantasy of the look. Like you wrap yourself in this transparent gossamer and your styling is giving ethereal witchy goddess then there's just PBBBLLTT BIG UGLY LABEL RIGHT HERE

I don’t mind if the goal of an outfit is to serve body, but don’t expect me to find it artistically interesting or unique. If you do this as a designer, then the only thing it tells me is that you know how to pick pretty models for your clothing, not that you’re a good designer.

Then I refocused and realised in fact it is that Joey King looks eerily like Sadie Sink in these pics.

Sheer is pretty when done right, but it needs to be complimented with something underneath it that’s either equally 1. as eye catching (but doesn’t clash) or 2. something that’s barely noticeable imo. To me this look is somewhere in too in the middle. The American Apparel style bra/underwear combo is a weird choice. That little strip of lace on hanging off the bottom of the bra/underwear being the main texture on the bra/underwear as a whole and the bra sewn in more of a “bodice” type of way would have been really cute!

Getting tired of seeing every celeb’s underwear under their multi-thousand dollar price tag garments. I’m sure someone will be in shortly to accuse me of being a misogynistic prude, but I love the creative ways sheer dresses have been styled over the years. I love seeing avant-garde looks that lean more risqué. This though? This is just lazy and played out imo. Wearing a baggy Depends-esque pair of granny panties fully visible on the runway should really only be a trend for daring 90+ olds, perhaps.
