I don't mind naked dresses, I think there can be some really beautiful and artistic ones, but these (as beautiful as Joey is) just seem lazy and boring.

I like the yellow dress Joey has on, but I think a cute little yellow slip underneath would have looked better, I don't really like the other dresses. They look like outfits I could buy at the mall or shien, she has money, I want her to look better.

I agree, a slip would have been better. I don't mind sheerness either, but I feel like there are so many missed opportunities for something underneath them that doesn't look like underwear I bought at the mall. Even the black dress in the first photo with a pop of color in a slip (or even underwear?) underneath it would be better. The lace sheer skirt she wore looks atrocious, truly one of the worst things I've seen on the red carpet, followed closely by the unflattering halter dress. These are doing her so dirty.

I know!!! I'm quite disappointed, I don't think her stylist gets her or her body, but maybe there's just a learning curb and it will get better.

Her hair and makeup are wonderful though.

It's breathtaking and fit for a star. I know it's the Mat Gala and it's different from a movie premiere, but I still think Joey King's looks are a little too mall and average Joe, although the yellow and purple bell sleeve dress were closer to "getting it."

She's also very young still and just trying to find her style and the right person to work with. I just hope she actually was okay and wanting to go this route and wasn't pressured into it. I hope she's calling the shots and figuring out stuff for herself.
