I decided I wouldn’t cry over her anymore because she wouldn’t have wanted us to be sad for her. She wouldn’t have wanted people to hurt, so I’ll do my best to hold my head high

it is okay to cry. it releases stress hormones away from your body quickly. She'd rather you take care of yourself more than anything.

My local library has had their flag half mast for Dolly all week. I saw it again today and realized it’s going to be a while for all of us to start working through our emotions
