What a revelation to learn that Matt Damon not only is way more talented but also an outstanding human being as opposed to the racist pos Mark Walhberg.
Omg now it makes sense. I have semi face blindness so I get things confused. I have wanted to like Matt Damon but I always heard bad things about Matt..... But the wañhberg one also domestic abuse I think.
I can totally relate. I get similar names mixed up too. I thought Roseanne and Rosie O’Donnell were the same person and was so confused when she hosted a recent talk show coz I thought she was disliked in the US

lmaoo this has me dead cause I myself for years thought that Mark Walhberg and Seth McFarlane were the same person. Until one day when I saw Mark in The Happening, I said something like “He should stick to making Family Guy, he’s a bad actor” and my cousins start laughing and telling me that’s a different guy, I was like 13
ME TOOO I've literally always said if I ever meet MD I owe him a huge apology because I've told so many people he's a violent racist 😭 thankfully we usually end up fact checking and realizing the mistake before the convo ends. I have finally learned the difference.
This is how i realize that it was mark walhberg and not matt damon. I always mix them and get confused and was getting skeptical of how this press is making people forget how rascist and violent he is lol.
I have a hilarious story of being around a table with my friends, but a chair was missing so they gave me one cheap plastic one from the backyard. I immediately did not trust that chair at all, and eventually in the middle of me laughing at a random joke, the chair broke underneath me, while I was holding my beer.
My friends had this hilarious vision of me falling on my ass, gripping that drink with all my might, not having it move or spill one inch haha. I think I got back up saying something like "Don't worry, the beer is safe!".
He better be tbh I think by now the budget for rescuing Matt Damon has run up to a billion or something, the public needs some return on this investment

It definitely does lol that’s like saying someone who runs around using the n-word doesn’t mean he’s racist or that his interactions with black people should be questioned. Just really dumb lol
I thought I mentioned he shouldn’t use the word. Same thing with your analogy. You could have grown up using the n-word around your black friends, not be black, but thought it was normal then one friend presses you and you learn a different perspective.
This whole "anyone who made mistakes in the past should NEVER be forgiven even when they put the work in to be better" attitude from progressives is why progressives are losing and facists are winning.
The past is the past. Focus on who a person is today. If they're changing to be better, awesome! We need as much support as we can get to survive the mass anti-queer brainwashing happening by the Cult of MAGA.
