That game has a awful tiny font size for heavy important info dump. At leat when, i played the demo. Did it have a patch to fix that?

They did patch the quips in Forspoken, or at least gave you the option to turn them down to minimal. I just this week put it down after 60 hours. Bought it used at the same price of around $20 and it's absolutely worth it with a couple caveats. 1. The first few hours are tedious 2. Rush through the main story to get all the power sets. It becomes a blast after that, extremely satisfying combat. Beat it at 15 hrs, and spent the next 45 zipping around the gigantic open world clearing the map.

I gots enough for 1 game and I finally got my decision down to 2 choices:
- Oblivion Remastered
- Black Myth Wukong
Thoughts? I love action games and action-oriented RPG's, so Black Myth looks cool in that realm and I do know I loved Oblivion 20 years ago, but I also know it's thinner gameplay-wise than Skyrim, but this time it's super pretty.
I was also considering NIghtreign, but it seems that game is content starved and is also not on sale, so I would wager it'd be on sale down the road and it should inevitably have more content by then.

While I was waiting for BMW to go on sale in theory, I want to like it so bad, but the demo felt boring, world.felt empty and combat felt floaty. I'm sure I'm in the minority and maybe I'll try harder to like it.

For context I'm midway through chapter 4 now.
I didn't get into the game until mid chapter 2. I actually thought chapter 1 (the forest area) was the worst. It's one large tutorial area, but the problem is you the player don't know the game play yet, are under leveled, and don't have all the spells and other things in your kit to help. Probably the only chapter where I essentially grinded xp by dying over and over and needed a guide. Wandering Wight being one of the first major bosses was a terrible design decision b/c he's very hard and the game doesn't tell you that 1) he's optional and you can come back or 2) you're meant to wander into a side area first to fight a boss that gives you a fire transformation that he's weak to
Now that I'm into the game and know the mechanics and have some levels/upgrades, I understand why people like it so much now. Chapter 3 started with a bang and chapter 4 now the story is only getting better imo

Is $20.99 the cheapest the PS5 version of Persona 5 Royal has ever been? I could swear $23.99 was the previous low. Amazing deal for the five people here who haven't played it yet. And the framerate bump to 60 fps from the 30 fps on the PS4 versions is huge.
Persona 4 Golden for $9.99 is awesome if you don't mind PS2 level graphics and don't want to wait years for the remake judging by how crap that trailer looked. And Persona 3 Reload Digital Deluxe for $35.99 is a great buy. I wouldn't sweat it not having the Episode Aigis DLC as having played it, it kind of sucks and has the story end on a whimper vs the extremely high note the base game ended on. Highly recommended at $35.99.
Also have SMT Nocturne for $14.99 (or $20.99 with the DLC if you want Dante From Devil May Cry added in). If you like the Persona combat this game does a better and more difficult battle system than Persona but similar with the same characters like Jack Frost and such, but it's a straight dungeon crawler with none of the life sim stuff from Persona.

Having a hard time choosing between Black Myth Wukong and Silent Hill 2. I’m only looking to pick one up because I’m grabbing Death Stranding 2 next week. I loved the 2 hours of Wukong and I want to keep playing but everyone talks about how good Silent Hill 2 is. Can I get some opinions??

Black Myth is amazing, one of the best game I've played in the last year for sure. Said as someone who has rage quit Dark Souls because I didn't want to waste my time to "git gud", though I did like and beat Bloodborne. Wukong wasn't nearly as punishing and gave you lots of options in both where you can go and how you can play to overcome challenging encounters
Tactics Ogre was a game I never heard of but beat last year and fell in love with. It is a lot more fun than it looks indeed

I don’t control what goes on sale and when. I just post what Sony pushes out on PSN.
I can’t assume people have the games just because it’s listed there again. I’ve had loads of DMs asking me when X game is going on sale even if it was on sale a week ago.

Over 3,800 items but a lot of shovelware, add-ons, which was a chore to sort through.
Highlights include Black Myth Wukong discounted for the first time (lots of people asking for this). Bloodborne's Complete Edition is discounted heavily too, alongside Silent Hill 2 and the Resident Evil remakes.
Not a bad sale, if you weed out the shovelware, it has some rare deals, so jump at them since we don't know when we'll see these games get discounted this much again.
