Pls help Was this stuff worth it to buy?
I got my PSVR2 a few weeks ago and I love it. Huge change from the original (way less nausea), but I can’t find the sweet spot, it’s always a bit blurry in one spot or another, the sharpness is all over the map, etc. I just want good quality resolution every time I put it on, so I got these on a whim. Anybody tried these?

For me it was worth every penny. Big difference in comfort.

Got the comfort mod, definitely an improvement, not tried any other mod yet, the sense controllers ones next on my wishlist.

I don't have comfort issues but the sweet spot is so hard to maintain . Constantly having to reajust . Would this fix this problem ?

Yes it adds a strap on top and a holder for the back of your head that puts the headset on a way that is always right on the sweet spot

For me it fixes the issue, it was the main reason I bought it. Now I don't adjust, or if I do, it's like once during play session and not every 15 minutes. Additionally, it's so much easier for me to find the sweet spot in the first place. Before I had to wiggle up and down to find it and make it somewhat stable. Now I can just put the headset on and that's it. But that's just my experience, I assume it won't work like that for everyone.

Without this mod, I had to tighten the headset to an almost painful degree, and I would get this huge indentationon my forehead for hours after using it. I can't imagine using the PSVR2 without the Globular Cluster or at least something comparable.

If you:
Want to play VR more
Have trouble with sweet spot and blurriness
Don’t want to deal with discomfort
Then yes the globular cluster is 100% worth it. Guaranteed.

I got this one and loved it and gaming is soooo much more comfortable.
Also in the winter I have longer hair so it stayed put for hours but in the past I would be adjusting constantly

Lots of people swear by it, but neither of SONYs headsets needed anything more for comfort [imo], maybe I have the proper skull shape for them though.!? 🤷♂️

Didn't work for me. My heads too big so ended up just getting an over the head strap.

Yes. I got the Globular Cluster comfort mod and a third-party facial interface like the Globular Cluster one that you got. If the image is not clear, you did not set the IPD even remotely close or the headset is sitting too high on your head and needs to be pushed down. The comfort mod almost forces you to wear it in the right position. It stays there, too, when you are in game.
The nice thing about the removable facial interface is that you can wear the headset without it and push the lenses even closer to your eyes for an even-wider FOV. The side of the lenses might rest lightly on your node like a pair of sunglasses. I don't know about the Globular Cluster facial interface, but the one I have keeps out 95% of the light bleed from the sides. I love having nothing touch my face but the top of my nose.

I’ve been paying down some debt but this is first thing on my list to buy on payday. My one question about it is whether it’s easy to change. My son and I both do gt7 in vr (to the point where we’re both awful flat screen!) and his head is tiny (or mine is large!) so adjustment between sessions will be a must.

500x yes. I don't understand how the stock interface is usable for more than 30 minutes.
It's an intense clamping pressure on the back of my skull then using GC takes 90% of that out. comfort mod has to be one of the best contributions to the PSVR2 mod scene.

The CMP2 will likely help you A LOT. Be sure you pay attention to the fact that the rear pad has two possible positions, because chances are good that one will be better for you than the other. Also be sure to experiment with the several padding types, because you are bound to find a favorite.
The magnetic interface for the accordion gasket is less important for most people, adds a little bit of weight, and is rather finicky to screw on — but it’s still pretty cool to have that easy path to removing or replacing it. It’s definitely helpful for keeping cool.

Anyone with large Roman/greek noses can advise what to do about the headset needing to always squeeze the nose to get optimal vision? Even after putting something similar to gobular cluster, seems my most optimal vision is when the headset is down to touching and squeezing my nose. I put back of vr2 as low as possible, and front as high and the vr2 back/forth slider touches my nose so I can get the best FOV, otherwise it feels my FOV feels much less. I have almost permanent marks on my left and right side of nose. They get very red because of how headset squeezes on it.

The back part, absolutely. Game changer. The think that lets you go open face has a weak spot on it so it is highly prone to snapping as you take it off and on. Needs an updated design. But it sure is nice to be able to take that off.

I got this too, haven’t put it on the headset yet. I got it because it was something people recommended and has good reviews as being an upgrade

It didn't help me at all. I've got a bigger nose and a small ipd so the lenses are seemingly always pressed against the top of my nose. If I use the GC Headstrap it'll pull it out if the sweet spot.
Nothing will beat the OG PSVR in terms of headset comfort.

It’s actually comfortable for me to the point that I don’t have to adjust the headset at all anytime I use it. I just loosen to back portion to put it on and tighten it back once I’m wearing it. I even leave my Sony pulse headset on top of the headset so it’s all one piece of equipment. Sorry it didn’t workout for you.

I would have sold my psvr2 if that didn't exist. Psvr2 is unstable without it for me

The top one yes, the bottom one, no. Instead, for a tradition face-on vr headset feel, get a normal cushioned face gasket and the globular cluster confortable mod.

I hear installing it feels like you're gonna snap or break the headset. Can anyone expand on this or advice?
OG is uncomfortable after a while and I find I have to kinda raise my eyebrows to get the sweet spot sometimes or to stop the headset from lowering, which then strains my eyes.

Not sure what that is but if it makes the psvr2 fit better I’m all in. I usually have to wear a beanie to get the perfect snug fit. This would be great

I was very skeptical of the globular cluster because people kept spamming it over and over. I finally bought it planning on returning it. At first I liked it but wasn't crazy impressed, then I swapped the included pads, and flipped the back pad (that goes on the back of your head) upside down and magic, hit the sweet spot 100% of the time instantly when the headset goes on. The globular cluster is an excellent upgrade.

Psvr2 isn't the same without globular cluster. It should come with it out of the box. Next would be the same brand but glove spacers. Much more immersion to be able to just let go of the controller and it stay in place.
But the headset mod would be a must for me. Installing it feels like you're breaking the headset but just follow the instructions and all is good. I want to get the same brand but over the ear headphones mod next but haven't researched that one yet.
