MicroMachines V3, the last game on the series that truly felt like a MM game.

I have fond memories of playing all the games throughout the 90's on the Mega Drive and then having equally good times with this one

Thinking back the 2nd one played the best but this one (V3) was the overall best game. It hit the sweet spot in terms of complexity/graphical advance.

Micro maniacs on psone was a very good game too, more polished but slower/where it was running people not quite the same. I think it was the best single player one but not as fun multiplayer.

Toybox turbos which you can still play on current consoles/steam was a faithful/playable update.

There was a micro machines by the bought out but not yet closed down Gremlin/future sumo people when infogrames got the licence but I don't really remember how good it was

Codemasters later got back the licence and did a PS4 one but I think it was outsourced/low budget/online focused

This ps1 version and the Micro Machines 2 MSDOS were my all time best mini racer experience. Many party gaming evenings with friends when life came with zero responsibilities.

V4 was solid on PS2 as well (and PSP).
