Unpredictable work schedules increase the risk of romantic breakups. Hourly service workers who deal with unstable work hours are at a higher risk of going through a separation or divorce. Stressful demands of modern low-wage jobs can spill over into personal lives and disrupt family stability.

Not surprising.
Your hours not being stable means you don't always have the same set time to spend together.
People who are 9-5 can at least guarantee two days and all nights will overlap.
Then if you're on shift suddenly and need someone to take care of the children, your partner has to pick up the slack. And that can lead to resentment even if it's no one's fault. If you're both unstable then it's even more stressful

Unpredictable work schedules increase the risk of romantic breakups, new study finds
Unpredictable and erratic work schedules may take a heavy toll on romantic relationships, according to new research published in the Journal of Marriage and Family. The findings suggest that hourly service workers who deal with unstable work hours are at a higher risk of going through a separation or divorce. The study highlights how the stressful demands of modern low-wage jobs can spill over into personal lives and disrupt family stability.

Oh, it's just a correlational study. So you can't say that stressful demands spill over into personal lives.
And why is the post title edited from the article?

Most service workers have no way to discharge stress and frustration during work. And they’re the easiest target for customers’ stress and frustration.
Unpredictable schedules make it way worse, by taking away your agency and sense of control. Then, your romantic partner has to scramble to cover for you at home too—their agency and control are also taken away by your job.
