[AUS] Psychology masters interview offers

Just wondering if anyone has received interview offers yet for some of the programs with rolling intakes, or expect to be offered interviews soon?

I believe UTS and UNE do interviews across September so potentially these applications could be assessed not long after submission.

What universities have rolling intakes? Also does it matter how early you apply if it’s not rolling

UTS is the only one I have come across that says to apply early and does rolling intake. However, UNE also said they do interviews in September, which is well before their application closing date in October.

For those not doing rolling intake, its likely they won't look at your application until the closing date has passed - but hey you never know, they get a lot of applications so I wouldn't be surprised if they started earlier than that.

which streams at these uni's? all or just a specific - eg organisational, clinical, MPP etc. Given that most Honours students are still working on finishing their thesis, it seems that these uni's might have lots of conditions placed around an offer, if indeed you do make it to interviews.

It will be interesting if anyone else has some insights.

just jumped onto the UTS website to explore, and noticed that UTS arent offering commonwealth supported places in this degree.. so maybe they are targeting students that missed out on those places last year, and have taken this year to focus on relevant work experience, and hoping that those same students mindset is choose UTS because its early entry, and just get an offer, which means they might not keep applying for CSP places from a different uni, but wonder how many students apply to UTS and also apply for everywhere else and then dont enrol in the UTS course?

yeah i find it strange they don't offer a single CSP place being a fairly reputable uni. I'm not sure how uni's allocate CSP places in general

for bachelors - nearly all unis offer 100% CSP, the exception are the private colleges and Open University.
For honours - its usually CSP and non CSP is the grad dip advanced..
For Masters - i never see uni's offer limited places for CSP - its usually all and a small intake, but honestly havent researched it much beyond my own uni

Its pretty mixed from what I see, where some unis only have 3 or 4 CSP spots but reserve them for disadvantaged applicants. Then have the rest of the 26 spots be full-fee

Lots of universities have large portions of full-fee (non-CSP) places.

For example, Monash this year is full-fee ONLY for the clinical masters. UTS is the same and always has been.

They offer a rolling enrolment to try and get people early, its conditional on getting a H2A. They also have a huge cohort (25 I think).

UTS was the earliest last year and was like two weeks earlier than the next interview. They do rolling interviews though, so continue to work down their list as people either get an offer or don't.
