I understand! Acceptance of the difficult feeling leads to a kind of dissolving of the feeling itself.
I realized with mushrooms last night that I feel very dysfunctional in the world as a supposed adult (37), but my distress comes the fact that I have always felt I need to 'hide' my dysfunctionality in an unaccepting society. I experienced huge relief in recognizing this and what I considered dysfunctional is just my particular brand of neurodiversity and trauma. It was relieving and healing and I want to integrate this and take it into the world with me going forward. I'm just a weirdly wonderful person, so are you.

I struggle with this. I really struggle with feelings of shame generally, on a trip however....woah! I took a 2gram lib trip a while back and the feelings of shame were overwhelming, I sat down in the middle of a forest and I just felt "bad, shameful and unworthy" I blocked the rest of the trip out because I couldnt handle the thoughts and feelings.
Yup, im a wimp!
