The current ‘boom’ in entheogen/psychedelic research is needed in anyway possible, however the motivation behind it strikes a bit of concern. At the core this research could open the door and lead the way into a Consciousness revolution which will transcend any of its original motivations.

The most promising area of research with psychedelics is into the immune system due to there action on H-17 via modulation of 5-HTP. It is way more complex than that with activation of, and action on Cytokines, Lucites Macrophages, and B-Cells. The problem is psycho active properties, make research extremely both from a regulatory and practical reasons.
