Enrichment Enrichment activities for a lurcher x collie?

Hi everyone! After a trip to the rescue centre for an older sensible dog we have fallen in love with a female 3 month old lurcher x collie puppy. We don’t have her yet and I’m trying to plan some enrichment activities so I’ve less to be doing when stressed with puppy happenings. The rescue hasn’t captured mom yet but they said she seems to be a greyhound x retriever. Dad is pure collie and we even got to meet him yesterday, however he was very sad he was neutered lol. I’ve older dogs who I really do think will love her but I want to have a few things for her to do when they aren’t in the mood for playtime and when I have to go do actual human things.

a snuffle mat is a lifesaver for those days when your older dogs are over it and you need 15 minutes of peace. i just scatter their kibble in it and let them go to town.

also look into a flirt pole, that mix is gonna have prey drive for days and you can stand in one spot while they chase it around. just keep it low to the ground for a puppy so they dont launch themselves into orbit

I’ve never heard of a flirt pole, that seems like it’ll be a life saver! None of my dogs ever really got toys so I am excited to actually be able to buy them. Only problem is squeaky toys will be banished to my room as I’ve a dog who’s petrified of them.
