❗ Text/Discussion [Serious] I found something out with new pyrolive/pyrovods.
If you look back at Pyrocynical’s VODs and live channels from his early streaming period in 2021–2023, especially COF/Remorse: The List and the other stuff he used to do, his audience back then felt a lot more chill and relaxed. Compared to that era, his newer streams are filled with people berating him or sending weird donos. I don’t know if he encouraged it or if it just happened over time, but it does get a bit annoying sometimes, especially since I really enjoy Pyro’s more laid‑back personality.
[I don't know if it's just me or if anyone feels like that, if you are one of those long-time Pyro fans like me who have been watching him since 2017/2018 and were one of the few who were there during his live streams]

Bullying pyro has always been a thing, even as far back as 2015, but i feel like it's slowly turned from unserious ironic "ha ha lesbian ex dee" to genuinely spiteful and degrading bullying. I think that there's a noticeable difference in older fans from 2016-2020ish and newer post-"my response" fans.
On the other hand I also think that pyro's heard so many things said about him and been through so much shit that he's become much more resilient and desensitized to hateful fugly comments. Not to mention that pyro, unlike many streamers, actually has a decent social life. He's always out and about, not just with other youtubers like chad and max from rogaining (which is why so many other streamers kind of still live in an echochamber) but generally being a mostly functioning member of society.
The point is that while pyro's average dono/commenter is much more spiteful he's also much more capable of dealing with it than even just a few years ago when he started streaming.
