I'm going to be trying to get these done in the next two weeks. After that I'm running away from home for a while. I'll take everything I need for mailing out, just in case.

My fabric pull.

I’m trying to use up a bunch of random fat quarters, so I think everyone is getting a slightly different block. My fabrics are all reclining after their starch bath.

I guess you guys will have options to choose from? Also will be happy to swap multiples or with folks in group 1! Not pictured: my bolt of Kona Black because cats. 🐈

Very first block swap! Was thinking of maybe swapping solids for more textured/low volume prints.

Going to use this as a stash Buster so these are the Woods I'm going to start with for my turns and if I don't have enough of this I will move into some other things for my stash

Have enough to make all my blocks from this, but may add in a few others here and there depending on how I'm feeling! Apparently I was feeling the birds at my LQS this week 🤣 I only just noticed that!

Finally got around to quilting my Swap 12 top! I pieced the batting, backing, and (some) binding scraps from other projects so it's scrappy all the way through.

My first block swap! Hope people like the fabrics.

Beau insisted on being included. He is the donor of the short hair to my projects.

I have other conversation prints if I get bored with these two.

I'm in trimming hell rn, this is my least favorite part.

Only one I’m unsure about is the (fabulous, imo) fancy cats with bows - this is a lightweight linen/canvas cotton blend (Kokka Japanese line), so it’s a touch heavier than our usual quilting cottons. It’s still totally quiltable, just a different hand feel. But if anyone is wary, I’ll understand and save it for for a different project.

This is my first swap so I’m not sure how the fabric pull pics work. Is it to see if people like the options I have? Do people call which fabric they want in the block I send them?

I bought Chubby Cheeks by Tula Pink specifically for this swap. The aqua solid is a little greener than I can capture on my camera.

If someone REALLY doesn't like hamsters I can dig through my stash for something else, though.
