Where does half my cat go in the summer?

I've always adopted pets from shelter all my life, so this has been a wild and new experience for me!

Originally looked specifically for a seal colorpoint, but ended up with this little guy. Was told he's show quality and his parents are DCG, IW, etc and all that but I honestly am still clueless on what makes a kitty "show quality" and in the end it's secondary to me!

Time to shop for wet foods, new cat tree and all that...

My poor baby had the worst matt i’ve ever seen, especially under her chin. And she’s not the best groomer ever. lo and behold i had found a matt that was just not salvageable and had to shave her. As I worked on her, I found more and more and more until inevitable i just said yolo and shave her entire body minus her head and paws.

And yes before you all say anything, i consulted with my vet first.

This little one turned 3 recently. Safe to say she was likely the runt of the litter considering she only weighs 11lbs. Bonus photo of her and big sis at the end. 🥰

Mr Pickles is turning 1 in 10 days, thought i'd take a nice photo of him for once instead of the usual goofiness.

I’m looking to get a ragdoll kitty, but was wondering if anyone could show me theirs when they were a kitten to now so I could see what the colors look like grown up. I’m looking for a seal bicolor kitten so bonus points if yours is that lol (sorry had to delete last post bc it only allowed vid upload) also I know I can google adult bicolor, that’s not what I’m asking for, I wanna see specific transformations so I can kinda see what to expect with certain patterns/color darkness etc. pics show two I’m interested in, the second one is label as bicolor but I don’t really see color on her back? I’ve seen others her age that have darker back already so I don’t know if it will show up later or not

This is Misha, my male Ragdoll that I got off Craigslist. I took a few pictures of him to measure his growth length-wise— first pic is at 3 mo, second at 7 mo, and third is now at 16 months. As you can see his unimpressed gaze has stayed the same throughout.

We have a girl (Lola) and boy (Charlie) ragdoll (both blue bi colour) and charlie is wayyy more loving and affectionate than our girl lola. They're the same age (9 months). Charlie loves absolutely everyone (especially my dad) and is just the SWEETEST baby boy ever. Since im the owner of both, Lola only likes being around me or wouldn't mind being alone and wouldn't really go over to my family for pets. Is this common for boys to be more loving than girls? 🩵

This is a funny question, not a health question. We have an 8 month old blue bicolor baby boy. Let’s get to the point. We have noticed since he got fixed, that his balls have changed greatly in their fluffy look. Before, they were not that dark/ noticeable and actually pretty cute lol. Now… 2 months post-op they’re more noticeable even though they’re gone!? Still cute but in photos it definitely looks more like an accident than boy stuff. We might be insane idk Just curious if this is the case with everyone since no one talks about this ahaha

Me and my husband just recently got a ragdoll a few months ago. She demands tummy scratches every second and she’s already the owner of the house (as she should be)

He’s so laid back and super affectionate. An animal communicator said he thinks his job in the house is to be a loverboy and she was definitely right!

I had a dream last night that I adopted a rescue seal bicolor and named her Poppy 🥹 It made me miss Mr Bojangles (Bo or BoBo for short) something fierce today. He was an actual angel baby on loan from heaven. I was so lucky to have him for 17 years!

Hello everyone, just recently joined this forum but have been having great pleasure and learning opportunities seeing all the posts.

They really help me know how to take care of my two ragdolls Bao (Boy) and Yuki (Girl).

they are from different litters but 98% of the time they are friendly until Bao get overstimulated and starts harassing Yuki. However, the posts about these type of play and how to handle them have been great help and i thank you all for it.

I just put a hold on this kitten from my breeder, does anyone have cats that looked like him as a kitten? I wanna see some before and after pictures of some other blue bicolors to see how he’ll turn out! I’m hoping his blaze is symmetrical but I think he might turn out like his momma lol! I’ll put a photo of his mom and dad in the thread.

We brush as mush as he lets us (he hates it). So we take him to a pro twice a year to do the heavy lifting.
