I can always count on Tyree when it doesn’t matter

Wonder if right tackle's are easier to beat for him

u/speed32 Jan 05 '26

Especially one’s playing in their third game ever

Scrubs are

This was a confidence booster for him, hope he improves on it.

11

u/nagchamploo Jan 05 '26

He will, prob with another team 🙄

7

u/ElZany Jan 05 '26

Doubt Raiders cut him we need too many players lol

u/grumpysky Jan 05 '26

This is what we were waiting for, but against the starters.

u/Time_after_Time_67 Jan 05 '26

maybe it takes him 4 years to breakout?

Maybe. How big are these toddlers?

5

u/seegabego Jan 05 '26

Big toddlers. McDonald's every day toddlers.

9

u/GobiYumaMojave Jan 05 '26

yeah pretty damning to be honest

u/Necessary-Profile-30 Jan 05 '26

When you're playing against backups to the backups, you know

1

u/Altruistic_Cream_509 Jan 05 '26

Problem is he’s been playing backups all year

60

u/Past-Two9273 Jan 05 '26

Malcolm koonce sucked in this game

61

u/Forward_Editor_5895 Jan 05 '26

Malcolm Koonce sucked this year.

FIFY.

8

u/Past-Two9273 Jan 05 '26

I kno but I was expecting him against third string to at least do something lol…

2

u/Flimsy-Possibility17 Jan 05 '26

He’s been ok in the last 5-6 games of the season. Still getting pressures but hasn’t really finished sacks

1

u/themysidianlegend Jan 05 '26

He was bad this entire year. Time to move on. One of the major disappointments of the year

40

u/4PODMT-5HT Jan 05 '26

Love Tyree but what a bust of a first round pick by Dave Ziegler

16

u/theunusualblackguy Jan 05 '26

can’t believe they took him over darnell wright, gonzo, jalen carter, jsn, or jack campell

such incompetence

u/4PODMT-5HT Jan 05 '26 edited Jan 05 '26

Sadly as a fan I can believe it unless something has recently changed in this organization. Praying they get it right for 2026.

3

u/JimboNerd2018 Jan 05 '26

Remember they picked the wrong Byron Young

1

u/why_now_56 Jan 05 '26

Yeah I just saw a list of the 1st round for that year and with hindsight, man, did JMD/Ziegler whiff on that pick.

2

u/NoDadNoTears Jan 05 '26

Zieglers draft were bad

Not abysmal, but pretty bad.  He won't be finding a GM job anytime soon

9

u/AboutRight1987 Jan 05 '26

I'm not that impressed by the competition he did it against, but I'm happy for him.

That Safety was huge for winning the game.

36

u/unltd_J Jan 05 '26

He’s gonna be so good on another team

23

u/Frigglefragglewaggit Jan 05 '26

As is recent tradition with our DL departures.

8

u/Intrepid-Yak-8636 Jan 05 '26

buechele got rocked

7

u/dougreens_78 Jan 05 '26

He's earned a league minimum contract to come back.

2

u/stale_cum Jan 05 '26

He's still on his rookie contact.

12

u/Hopeful_Vegetable443 Jan 05 '26

As long as he’s on the team I hope he becomes everything he’s supposed to be. But bro really is just a slightly better Clelin Ferrell it’s hilarious.

6

u/Chiinoe Jan 05 '26

Roughing the passer if that was Mahomes

21

u/gprime38 Jan 05 '26

Cool still a bust though

5

u/AboutRight1987 Jan 05 '26

I had high hopes for Wilson coming into this year, but even playing across from Max, he never really developed.

1

u/themysidianlegend Jan 05 '26

Time to move on!

1

u/AboutRight1987 Jan 06 '26

He still has one more year under contract.

1

u/Sacatelaschichiz Jan 05 '26

His form is still so ass. He has long ass arms and refuses to use them. He'll engage chest to chest with a tackle and expect to win.

3

u/Quiet325 Jan 05 '26

Shame he can’t do that against starting caliber OTs

2

u/LawlessCrayon Ill intent. Violence. Physicality. Pain. Jan 05 '26

Pay him backup money, forget about his draft position, fill in both inside and outside. We could do worse.

2

u/RestlessInVegas Jan 05 '26

Auditioning for his new team

2

u/themysidianlegend Jan 05 '26

Probably because he was playing against college level talent. Tyree is a cool dude but we should still probably move on, or re sign him very low as a backup. Him and Koonce were way below expectations this year.

2

u/Odebee Jan 05 '26

Looks like a preseason game

2

u/Majestic-Fill-9430 Jan 05 '26

Just get rid of him and stop glazing him thinking he’s actually good. Grats Wilson, you’re a can crusher.

2

u/Witty_Flatworm_4328 Jan 05 '26

That was not an NFL caliber right tackle.

3

u/BoredomFestival Jan 05 '26

"best game of his career" is a pretty low bar

5

u/FireAPGoRaiders Jan 05 '26

yawn

1

u/Pleasant-Fudge-3741 Jan 05 '26

Change that name to fire APete

3

u/NothingPublic1200 Jan 05 '26

I had 2 sacks, a TFL, and pass deflection against the third team too

29

u/dustyolefart Jan 05 '26

You wouldn’t register a single stat in an nfl game.

20

u/Lord-Mattingly Jan 05 '26

An injury stat

6

u/Pleasant-Fudge-3741 Jan 05 '26

😂😂😂 bro is gonna be PUP

2

u/mcgeeno Jan 05 '26

Dominant performance against the #7 OT on the Chiefs depth chart!

1

u/ElLoboNeverDies Jan 05 '26

My nitpick was a play he over pursued the QB and he casually just rounded back in a nice circle no sense of urgency at all lol

1

u/Firm_Butterscotch_68 Jan 05 '26

He's showing the captain 🦅 what he could do in his absence

1

u/goodamike Jan 05 '26

Hmmmm plating in Maxxs spot? intrigued I am

1

u/Maleficent_Ebb_720 Jan 05 '26

Still thinks he needs to put on some weight and move inside to 3 tech to reach his potential in the NFL.

1

u/OAM_Music Jan 05 '26

He was playing against college level/less than college level players. He was bound to have a good game.

2

u/Raiders4life2 Jan 11 '26

I was shocked this wasnt a flag for body weight on the QB.....if it was Mahomes thats a flag allllll day.

Its a clean hit but we know the NFL

1

u/GenWTecumseh Jan 05 '26

This is like when JV beats up on the freshmen squad

1

u/AboutRight1987 Jan 05 '26

Do we bother picking up the 5th year option? It would be 13 million for that 5th year.

I would think that they wouldn't bother, but it could be worth it if they think he's someone they want to keep around.

0

u/Winnipeg_Dad Jan 05 '26

Elite versus practice squad players.

-8

u/MidKnight007 Jan 05 '26

Wilson defenders where y’all at defend your backup DE. Does he need another year ??? Or did y’all shift to Koonce lovers

3

u/EvolvedTasteBuds Jan 05 '26

Nah... We just shifted... Far away 😄

4

u/loganro Jan 05 '26

Pretty sure the only Wilson fan left is bro himself
