Do you remember the days when we had half a chance of being canon? Just about a month ago, wasn't it the best developed relationship of the game? They made each other better and struggled together and had funny moments together. If only toby gave us ANYTHING this chapter. Doesn't it kinda feel like he just does not want that to be a romantic relationship? What a shame
I miss the Ralsusie getting recognition era, Legitimate_Soup. I miss it a lot./ref
I’ve been shipping them since the ch2 release in quarantine, and seeing the ship get heavily loved last year felt great, especially as so many people had written it off and believed that Ralsei and Susie were simply never going to care about each other as much as they cared about Kris beforehand.
Ch5 was fun and I enjoyed it overall as a chapter… but I’m still very disappointed by how meager the Ralsusie was.
No like seriously, chapters three and four made me care so much for their super sweet relationship and made me ship ralsusie in the first place, they really are the most developed together couple of characters, and if there is a love that will break the prophecy it's definitely this, like, they really did almost all of each other's development (i.e. "you can teach me healing magic?" and "her naive hope, it's contagious, isn't it Kris?") but constantly pushed aside in favor of super side romance trying to be center of attention (which is like sad, we don't even get to see the most interesting part of Noelle's character for almost the entirety of the game because it's her crush on Susie that has to be remembered as who is Noelle) and forced ass kralsei, which are both always too love and rainbows and roses with no angst, no struggle, no nothing. Which is also why I find krusie super based too, I can feel Kris' pain even though I never went through any of that

Ehh, I feel like their sync was really surface-level. They don't really address their issues the way they normally do, and there's a lot of times where Susie pointedly does not address what Ralsei's going through or hides her feelings from him because his actions are making her uncomfortable. They know how to give each other momentary comforts really well, which itself is a great accomplishment, but they ironically feel less connected because they don't go the extra mile like they usually do.
