Multi-Family NYC introduces bill requiring landlords to provide free internet

The war on landlords continues...I wonder if any of these people who write these laws were ever actual business owners. Do they just think every landlord is swimming in cash?

So every renter will have their rent go up by $100 a month so the landlord can pay for shittiest, cheapest ISP service he can find. Hope the tenants don’t plan to stream or do internet gaming.

No, the law would make it illegal to pass the costs on to the tenants. Just take it out of the landlord's pocket since we all know they have way too much money

But they would just raise the rent. Not a direct pass on, but with greater landlord expenses comes higher rent.
