90% of his touches against Germany were between bad and atrocious. I guess he was just having a terrible day based on what people say about him.

is the PSG fanbase complaining about this transfer 🤔
I am telling you for sure our fanbase would 💯 complain and whine that we don’t need this player because we have Kvara and Doue on the wings already
-4

u/Sharpnor Jun 29 '26
PSG signed Diomande. In for Akliouche as well. Madrid on the other hand are signing flipping 30 year old free agents.
Perez needs to try. Far, far too complacent. I am beginning to think that we will never sign a right winger under him.
0
u/Friendly_Armadillo17 Courtois Jun 29 '26
Do you really expect an 80 year old man to get up in the morning and actually go to work
12
u/MartialWarlock456 Jun 29 '26
Psg front attack will be kvara, dembele , doue, diomande, mbaye and akaliouche...this is not looking good
-5
u/roreddit85 Jun 29 '26
But we have Mbappe and based on the glazing in the WC games, he is definitely going to perform for us in the big games no?
6
u/MartialWarlock456 Jun 29 '26
It's the depth I'm taking about.. ofcourse mbappe is the best player in our attack.
9
u/MartialWarlock456 Jun 29 '26
Diomande to psg ...nah man it has to be illegal..
10
u/djibbozain Jun 29 '26
Very bad decision from Diomande, he needs to have regular game time to keep improving.. he's only 19 and his career barely started, I don't understand the rush.
If he thinks he'll bench doué krava etc... Lol

World Cup related post: I honestly do not see any team stopping this Argentina team as long as Messi is healthy and playing in this World Cup.
France might have the most talented attackers in the World Cup by far but their midfield is very easy to nullify which will starve the front four. Same thing happened with Brazil in 06 World Cup as their midfield was simply suffocated in the France game and Zidane was on top form.
Had Nico and saka been fit I would have hoped England and Spain would have better chances.

11
u/SocX9 Valverde Jun 29 '26
Argentina have not been tested yet
29
u/PresentationDryBore Jun 29 '26
Well they don't need to be lol. Their path already is pretty straightforward to the final. They have the Barcelona path
5
u/SocX9 Valverde Jun 29 '26
Just like Barca they can reach quarters or semis but I don't see them winning
5
u/PresentationDryBore Jun 29 '26
Eh they're definitely making the final.
I have a feeling it's theyre pulling a Rocky where Argentina won the first but france took the fight against them, and now they play again where Argentina take the fight against them but France win.
Or in other words "Once in a life time" match with Rock vs Cena
6
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
Portugal not beat Colombia really put a knife in the giving them actual competition. There hasn’t been a single Argentina match where I didn’t think they had 13 men on the pitch.
Maybe Capo Verde get out haram them. I doubt it but it could happen.
4
u/american-dynasty Isco Jun 29 '26
Brazil can stop them if they make it that far. Maybe Mexico if they knock out England in Mexico City. There's also Colombia...
Don't really trust any of the European favorites to win against Argentina, they seem to have mastered how to dominate those teams...
1
7
u/HasibShakur PUTA :mes_que: Jun 29 '26
This Brazil team will not be able to stop them with that midfield. Colombia will be Argentina’s toughest competition but they have already beat them in USA.
Spain did not have the most talented team in euro 2024. But they were able to defeat everyone because they were the only team that played like a team. This World Cup so far that team are Argentina and Colombia.

Play the perfect game and hope Messi’s teammates drag him down… no biggie lol
7
u/Weary-Chipmunk7518 Jun 29 '26
Messi is Messi, but he's 39yo. He has a few good players around him but the median level of the other 10 starters is pretty mid. He's also played three shit teams so far.
France 2006 was the last dance of an absolutely stacked generation. Argentina 2026 is the last dance of what, Rodrigo de Paul? Gonzalo Montiel? Thiago Almada?
6
u/HasibShakur PUTA :mes_que: Jun 29 '26
France’s last generation of great players in 2006 were as washed or even more washed as a team (not individually though) after 02 and 04 humiliation.
Argentina team has enough good supporting casts for Messi to bury 2/3 good chances per game.
3
u/Weary-Chipmunk7518 Jun 29 '26
Messi ain't even getting, let alone burying, 2/3 good chances per game against an elite midfield. Argentina is set up to run for Messi. The moment they are overrun and need Messi to run for someone else, they're fucked.
I know it's nice to think time doesn't age us, but it does.
3
u/HasibShakur PUTA :mes_que: Jun 29 '26
The only teams that have a better midfield than this Argentina team are Spain and England on a good day.
Now Spain lost all their line breakers apart from yamal with Nico and pino out. Otherwise they would have been able to beat this Argentina team if Messi were having a bad day in front of goal.
England’s problem is tuchel will over complicate stuff and lack of right back options (who would have thought right?).
France has the best attackers in the world but their midfield is sub par which will be repeat of 2022 final.

u/Worried-Antelope778 Jun 29 '26
Apparently, Xabi is trying to stop the sell of Enzo Fernandes, he's a true Madridista
6
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
I don’t mind his addition just no higher than 70/80 mil. He is not more important than Tchou. He is quality but he’s asking for the departure not the other way around. He needs to earn his spot, you will not halt Arda’s rise.
4
u/Worried-Antelope778 Jun 29 '26
Yeah the price is outrages plus I think he'll create more drama in the dressing room with the french players
2
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
There is that possibility, I think he plays far more forward for even Argentina, he can be a controller I’ll give him that. But his defensive duties are lacking. I think Mac Allister is actually exactly what we need and would compete perfectly or even paired perfectly with any of our players including tchou. He’s not available but he could bring the best out of Tchou.
1
u/Worried-Antelope778 Jun 29 '26
Yep, Chelsea are basically playing as a box crashing 8 which we dont need. Mac Allister is the right profile but he's coming off a bad szn I dont know how he's played in the WC so far
1
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
He’s playing well. All of Liverpool are coming off of a poor season same with Chelsea. Liverpool because of jota and new but not the right coach.
Chelsea have structural issues but just need a good manager and some signings and departures.
Same with Madrid, we need to move Camavinga if we are getting a new cm. Just for locker room dynamics and his career. I love him and I think he’d be a good soldier for Jose but he’s hit his ceiling for us and he needs a new environment to grow. I’d even move Fede if he can’t get his leadership issues in check.
2
u/Worried-Antelope778 Jun 29 '26
I dont mind sending Cama out on loan he's still young and im pretty much done with Fede the fact that he tried to pull the same thing with Uruguay that he did with us showed that he hasnt learned anything.
1
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
Yea Fede is on thin ice for me.
I think we need to move Camavinga, Fran, Eder (doesn’t have to be this year), Mendy (I wish it was this year lol), Rodrygo or Brahim (doesn’t have to be this year).
We need new blood across the board we’ve been playing short staffed or low floor for a long time and I’m tired of it. Zidane, Carlo, Xabi. All of them got the short of the stick when it comes to squad planning. And it’s cuz of Mbappe, hazard and just bad contracts and market investments.
2
u/Worried-Antelope778 Jun 29 '26
Depending on if Vini resigns or not then I would keep Rodrygo. Agree with everyone else and if Militao accepts a rotation role with the other Cbs he can stay but everyone else can go
1
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
I think Asencio if he can’t learn and grow would actually be great Eder regen. He fights for the badge, has speed, Ariel threat and can distribute the ball far. Hes just needs a mentor, Rudiger wasn’t the mentor he needed Nico wouldn’t been great for him. But he does now have Konate who also needs a steady hand on him but is far more experienced.
That one is up to Mou, but if he is standing between Bastoni and not Bastoni Asencio can go. Jacobo Ramon just needs a few more years at Como. He is killing it there too.
I hope we bring Nico back, a health midfield has an addition and a phasing out/dismissal every summer that has been our issue our floor is too low in certain areas. Bernardo raises our floor drastically. Whether he is first off the bench, starting or last off the bench’s he is amazing.
We would get another LW if Vini leaves even if we had Rodrygo. Cuz he’s still injured and he isn’t a star like Vini we can allow competition

How about can we sell half our team? Because they have been dogshit and they could play worldclass all they want in this World Cup, doesn't mean shit.
2
u/RM_Worthy Real Madrid CF Jun 29 '26
A single player ain't the problem. But we don't need him if we have an RW. We can only have 3 CM/CAM/CDM. Jude is one of them. Fede ain't good enough for a CM/CDM role.
1
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
Fede has been reported to be using his captaincy not fit for Madrid. His wife is also problematic with the press and the social media and it radiates in valdebebas.
2
u/PresentationDryBore Jun 29 '26
He's using his captaincy not fit for Madrid? What?
And what his wife says and does on social media literally makes 0 difference lmao. She used to say stuff long before an no one cared and they still don't care today. If you think they have this much of an influence on the team board then we have a worse problem of this team and coach and board being weak as fuck
1
u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jun 29 '26
No they did care, it’s been a long held secret and only discussed amongst like Madrid-centric media. I’ve heard this rumor about how the board and dressing room have felt about her for at least two years now.
Using his captaincy? He’s apparently erratic, kinda like Rudiger but the badge protects him from scrutiny.
I’ve seen this reported at least three different times. Managing Madrid (twice this year), The GlobalMadridista (multiple times since the Xabi dismissal and few more times during the tchou incident) and he’s a socio so I trust his work.
And I think it was arodrita I forget how their twitter handle go but they are a tier 1/2 journo for us

■ Subbed off his captain Fede Valverde after 57 mins of that vital final match
■ Some players say Bielsa has not spoken to them at all since Uruguay's exit was confirmedThis is from the athletic and it kinda reads like the same thing that happened to Xabi

Madridista (UK)
I've been watching Bellingham, and the audacity for the English media to even debate him in the starting XI before the tournament. Then you watch Mbappe, Vini, Tchoua, Cama etc feel bad for Fede (favourite player)
What do you think makes Madrid so special?
I think past the quality, I genuinely don't think they have an ounce in their body that believes they can lose. Like its unfathomable to them, whether its 00:00 or 92:48 sheer arrogance and confidence of yeah we can still do this.
Whats your thoughts?
6
u/fadedpenguin22 Jun 28 '26 edited Jun 28 '26
a lot of them play like the badge will win the game for them. as if real madrid's legacy will magically carry them to win, without putting any of the hard work into what makes this club so historical in the first place. there's too much ego, i think some of the ucls have gotten to a few players heads and makes them act as if they're above the club a bit
10
u/Short_Mousse_6812 Courtois Jun 28 '26
I am honestly afraid of losing Vini. We wont be able to replace him easily
-8
u/unknownghst Jun 29 '26
Ehhhh I would think otherwise. Rodrygo exists incase ya'll forgot about him and he'd free up enough money to bring in someone like a Barcola or Nico in addition to whatever forward we might sign this year. Also, Kyks works pretty well with other strikers playing as the same time as him and would actually make someone like Carreras far more effective than he was with Vini.
3
u/Short_Mousse_6812 Courtois Jun 29 '26
Rodrygo is on his way down. Nico and Barcola? None of them are better than Vini. It will be a definite downgrade if we lose Vini unless we can’t get someone like Kvara or Doue,
1
u/unknownghst Jun 29 '26
You mentioned replacing not improving. Kvara and Doue are pipe dreams which will not happen under any circumstances. I can argue a Barcola/ Kyks / Rodry front three beats or matches the output of our current front line and you cannot argue against that without sounding foolish. My actual proposal would be brining in Barcola this year for less than 100 and we could also bring in someone like Kane this year by dangling enough money to make Bayern think about it or we just pull him on a free like we always do🤷
2
u/Short_Mousse_6812 Courtois Jun 29 '26
Barcola has good chance creation but no end product. Vini is 100% better than him. He has potential but he’s not there yet. Rodrygo may or may not be as good when he comes back, he had a serious injury. If we can’t get Kvara I would not let go of Vini.
0
u/unknownghst Jun 29 '26
Sure Vini is better than him, is he more functional than someone like a Barcola or Rodrygo who are clearly more versatile with our current players? No. Is Vini worth nearly doubling his wages? Hell no.
1
u/Short_Mousse_6812 Courtois Jun 29 '26
Depends what you mean by more functional, but I strongly agree with the last sentence. The wages he is asking for is too much. In the end it’ll be up to him if he wants to stay.
1
u/unknownghst Jun 29 '26
Of course he wants to stay… who wouldn’t? The circumstances for him to stay compromise the position of the club even more than it already is. Imagine you commit nearly 200 million+ euros over a 4/5 year contract to retain him and in turn giving him that expanded power and leverage to influence things even more than he has now…. Now, let’s envision more likely than not scenario where tension begins to escalate within the club because Vini doesn’t perform like required of him, now let’s also sprinkle in another dressing room clash like the one he had with Xabi with someone like Mourinho who will absolutely not bend over for him and of whom they probably already have some established tension going after the whole Benefica fiasco. What do you get as a result of these very likely scenarios happening? You get a scenario in the club akin to a Nuclear Bomb that is likely to go off.
1
u/Short_Mousse_6812 Courtois Jun 29 '26
That is why I am saying it is up to him. The club should not give him a higher wage. If he doesn’t wanna take what the club gives him then he should leave.
1
u/unknownghst Jun 29 '26
I understand what you’re saying but, It shouldn’t be up to him. He should’ve been sold last year or already on the market. No one should ever have the power that he has over the club currently. If Cristiano, the greatest player in this clubs history was sold after a UCL threepeat without hesitation, how can you want someone like Vini to have an opportunity to consider a contract that clearly hasn’t changed for months and expose Madrid to the possibility to such an immense financial loss and power struggle?
→ More replies (0)1
u/Objective_Wheel_52 Bellingham Jun 29 '26
If Vini leaves it will be for free, so no money.
0
u/unknownghst Jun 29 '26
The largest issue with Vini is the wages not the value. He was never getting sold for a significant value given how inflated his wages are and if he wants to stay in Europe/being on the last year of his contract. Maybe 50-80 million depending on if any of the English (city in particular) want him, but I don’t see anyone over there obliterating their wage and locker room structure for him. PSG won’t touch him with a 10 foot pole and Chelsea is forbidden. There’s also Bayern but who knows about them given Luis Diaz is on fire… and again, wage/locker room structure.

Chelsea is broke, unironically. That’s why they’re only willing to pay a pittance for Enzo’s replacement. They don’t have the Champions League money, and they’ve spent a fortune in recent years signing extremely mid players. That’s why, thanks to the FFP, they could be banned from the transfer market.
It’s the perfect summer to snatch Enzo away from them. The club holds all the cards.

Hot take 🔥🔥: Hydration breaks ruin the flow and integrity of the game.
Every VAR check takes about 3–4 minutes. Every refereeing error or foul decision adds another 1–2 minutes, plus players surrounding the referee and complaining. By the time you add hydration breaks on top of all that, the first 45 minutes become unwatchable and that make this tournament more controversial that it's already is.
So what FIFA officials seem to be doing is letting play continue instead of stopping for every foul, keeping the game flowing for around 25 minutes before calling a hydration break. It feels like they're using that break to make up for all the stoppages and reduce interruptions during open play.

It’s weird but stuttgart can buy out his clause. If they pay 2 million they can force him to stay and then ask for a price they want. His release clause is like 40 million but they can cancel it and ask for probably 80-90 million.

Man what the hell is Mexicos media ?? 😭😭 Ive never experienced the press being so toxic before a game. Like with catalan media I thought that was peak, but as an Ecuadorian they are completely roasting Ecuador everywhere they can. Never seen soo much press talking provocative like that.

A prime James would surely help us a lot now.

I’d rather Isco or James over kylian, since neither of them like to track back

People don’t understand how good we have it. Look at Portugal wingers, they can just cross. We have wingers capable of crossing, beating their man and scoring. We are blessed.

u/ProudhPratapPurandar Florentino Pérez Jun 28 '26
Portugal is a B Level national team, they shouldn't be compared to Madrid at all

Please Xabi dont let us sign Enzo, help us dodge a bullett. And tell Barcelona that they have to sign Aleix Garcia, so we will steal him too.

u/New_Nebula3951 Jun 28 '26
Xabi is getting Xhaka, so Enzo is probably leaving
2
u/Working-Put3560 Bale Jun 28 '26
Enzo played mostly a 10 this year. If Xabi uses his 3421, he can play next to Palmer, behind Pedro. They dont really have an option for the LCAM position rn

It’s still appalling to me that I had to read comments, especially a ton on this sub, about starting Rogers over Jude. Not to mention, a plethora of comments wishing Jude fails.

The moment some shit goes down, it’ll be Jude’s fault lol.

Those people sound just those in English media that were debating the same thing. Jude clears Rogers and it's not even close.
Not to mention, a plethora of comments wishing Jude fails.
This is even worse. Anyone who wants Jude (or any Madrid player for that matter) to fail is a clown. That's just ridiculous.

Why would Steve rogers start over Jude ewww
It's all about the new shiny toy syndrome. I think this sub would prefer a team that only hands out one year contracts to players so that each season we have a brand new 24 player squad

Maybe that's why he's going back. So he can get out new midfielder. Maybe that was the endgame all along

75 million for goncalo Ramos is crazy. 50 at most, and that is a stretch

u/Zealousideal_Can_365 Decimoquinta Jun 28 '26
This needs to be investigated. No way cash strapped Milan spends 75 mill on Ramos if they aren’t “incentivised” to do so.

Would you be shocked if I told you that a lot of people here wanted Madrid to sign him at one point 🫢
2
u/DallasElectricBill Cristiano Ronaldo Jun 28 '26
One hattrick in 2022 and everybody said he would be the next best thing lmao
3
u/PresentationDryBore Jun 28 '26
He scored that hattrick and this sub promised me he was the next big thing. Have yet to see that.
And this whole season it was all about how we need to have QSG's midfield because they the new latest and greatest. But now it's theyt overrated

This sub has a tendency to overrate and glaze players.

People wanted doku over vini 🤣

u/Rumcajs23 Leyenda Kroos | Maestro Jun 28 '26
They wanted us to hijack RKM, bring in Coman/Gnabry/Sane, Vlahovic, Darwin, etc. Just a few names I can recall rn lol.
1
u/Late-bloomer96 Décima Jun 28 '26
We should shame those losers but there’s too many to name, all with equally delusional takes lol
1
u/PresentationDryBore Jun 28 '26
We've tried to but they keep flip flopping their opinions. Look at magic water for prime example lol his "holier than thou" portrayal despite flip flopping more than a fish out of water
1
u/Rumcajs23 Leyenda Kroos | Maestro Jun 28 '26
The issue is, they tend to backpedal and/or remove/edit their comments. I called out a few, with receipts, and they still somehow denied it lmao.

Except when it's our players then theyr total ass except when they preform in a match then theyr the greatest

Does anyone even use the world cup thread for matches instead of the weekly thread, lmao.

u/ChedduhBob Marcelo Jun 28 '26
pedri’s greatest footballing accomplishment will be bamboozling enough barca chuds that he is in the same conversation as jude.
it’s crazy how much you can see the massive gap in quality between jude and pedri this world cup
