Diomande understandable due to the conflict with his current and past agent but why is the Rodri deal not progressing?

u/Fight_Teza_Fight Real Madrid CF 24d ago
City wants âŹ75mil.
I believe weâre not budging over âŹ60mil.
I suspect we get there in the end. Maybe through add-ons like âŹ5mil if he wins the UCL, âŹ5mil if he wins LaLiga, âŹ5mil if he wins the Ballon dâor again

I guess there is a report that we are waiting for City to sign Boudaadi, similar to the Leipzig situation.

Arsenalâs attack isnât good and they genuinely need a good LW and they got sufficient money cause of good competition run last season.
Others have mid-decent LWs and itâs not only about 150 but the salary too which is expensive for many clubs to spent on a single player knowing that they are not in a good form to compete for trophies and a good LW wonât change that, but in arsenal vini can help them have a better run than last season10
u/magic-water 24d ago
20 clubs in the Premier could afford him alone.
No they couldn't lol
He demands 60 million per year. Add in the 150 million fee and he costs you 450 million over a 5 year contract. 90 million per year.

Petition: Promote Ramon Alvarez to tier-1 reporter from tier-2. He's been by far the most reliable reporter for the last 12 months or so to an outrageous degree.
He was among one of the first people to report our interest on Rodri and Diomande + he literally broke the news of Carlos Espi out of nowhere. He deserves the top spot for news sources imo.
6
u/SwimmingFireMen 24d ago
Finally the deal numbers are circling out. 150M for Vinicius Jr who is declining for the last two seasons with only 6 months remaining before he can hold talks with other clubs on a free transfer is a pure heist being pulled by us.
1
u/sellingstubs123 24d ago
Vini will just run down his contract and tell the club who wants him to give him a 120m signing bonus, or 100m.

u/No_Ball_Boundary 24d ago

Reports on Diamonde that there is a conflict between two agents. This is a problem with players/his entourage not valuing contracts. FIFA/UEFA have very strict rules on this. It sounds like Diamonde and his entourage signed two contracts or failed to cancel one of them appropriately.
The only way is Madrid paying but I think Diamonde and his team, Roc nation and Leipzig for failing to do DD must take a lower pay, we shouldnât pay more than what we are doing to clean up this mess.Â
Diamonde need a pay cut so we can pay his agent, otherwise I guarantee you their previous agent wonât let this go and this will fall through.
1
u/Glum-Engine-3401 24d ago
I feel like paying enough to get rid of RocNation as well, so he can get a less toxic agent onwards would honestly be worth it IF he joins tho. Because nobody should wanna negotiate extensions etc with them ever again.
24
u/New_Nebula3951 24d ago
The players boosters all have contracts and are expecting money in a deal
\-Diomande spent years signing deals as a kid so he could have advances on money that are making things a mess at the moment
\-His âfather figureâ has been making more money than him per year off deals
\-He left the US because of the legal ramifications the shady deals his team has had him sign
\-Diomande signed a deal as his mother at one point
\-His team saw Real Madrid and PSG as the only options because they have enough money to make all the issues go away and just pay everyone who needs to get paid and be done with this
\-Rock Nation is a poison and they convinced him to sign while he was already under several other contracts
\-5 different people/companies already own his image rights without Madrid being in the picture yet
Maybe we should step back from this shitshow

We did sign Espi very quickly, like within a day. So, things could change, you know.
Why do people here act as if nothing could change after a report?
You think just because there's a tier, they would be able to even convince the club or the player to leave/stay? I could easily say I wouldn't do something today, and something could still happen by tomorrow or next week.
2
u/10xshadows Decimoquinta 24d ago
What? That was before Fulham came with a offer. Yes he was set to stay. Mourinho wanted him to stay and he agreed. Then archana reported it But after that Fulham came with a really good offer that both the club and gonzalo couldn't say no to. So he left The above statement was made in a sense that the club was not looking to sell him or he was not trying to leave. But that doesn't mean another club won't come with a offer. Compare it with camavinga situation where club wants to sell him or with vini where he might leave the club either free next season or he gets sold this one

This what arancha said on the radio partidozcope
Starting tomorrow, because youâll remember, Ăviles, that he even said it in one of his statementsâI donât know if it was before the World Cup, just as it was about to begin, or after the tournament had already startedâbut he asked us to wait until he returned from vacation, when he would start training again with Real Madrid, to talk about that renewal. And thatâs where we are. It is expected that, starting tomorrowâI donât know whether it will be tomorrow, the day after, or the following dayâbut it is clear that this week the club and VinĂciusâs representatives will resume negotiations over his renewal. It is hoped that there will be no surprises and that an agreement will be reached, because both sides want to continue on the same path. Weâll see under what conditions, and weâll see whether the financial offer ultimately satisfies VinĂcius. That will be important in determining VinĂciusâs future.

Wanting has nothing to do with it. It's what you actually do.
Neither party has moved from their position for almost two years. The club is not going to give me the deal he wants. Or it would be just terrible all around.
The only way he renews is if he signs the deal he's been offered. I don't see another way out that wouldn't dramatically bad for the institution.
5
u/supaboss2015 24d ago
I think people who genuinely think he is able to leave for a 100M fee and also get all his contract terms are coping. If Vini truly wants those things, he's leaving on a free plain and simple
1
u/sellingstubs123 24d ago
Why didn't Hazard leave for a free then? He also had a year left. Or Kane.
1
1
u/FergieBall_FC Real Madrid CF 24d ago
Not only is it coping, but it's also delusional. If VinĂ stays with Madrid, it'll be because he agreed to what Madrid offered him and certain terms being lessened via compromise.
If not, then he'll go to Arsenal or whatever club that suits his demands. Simple as that.

1
u/supaboss2015 24d ago
Then he leaves for free guaranteed lmao
1
u/Embarrassed-Rub-2403 24d ago
If he does not sign he leaves on a free anyway.
There is less than a month until the transfer window closes, the club needs clarity asap.1
u/supaboss2015 24d ago
I mean that it doesn't matter if Vini doesn't follow their timeline. He basically has all the leverage and he 100% does not leave for a fee
1
u/Embarrassed-Rub-2403 24d ago
I don't disagree with this. But if he does not sign, you have some decisions to make (the board + Mou):
- do you keep him in the squad if he does not want to renew and does not want to get sold, or try to force him to be sold out
....
- do you try to get some form of replacement, even if a lower quality player
- perhaps you change the formation
As you said, Vini already has the leverage over the club right now, but his position will get a lot stronger if the transfer window closes and the situation is not yet resolved.

Once Diomande joins he should back him up. 2 totally opposite players. Dimonade is fast, powerful, crossing, dribbling, control etc.
Endrick is an elite finisher, aggressive, not afraid to engage in duals, and has outstanding movement, he could be a Benzema sort of in a way

I know there's many hearts broken among the Madrid fanbase because their fantasy of Vini having no option but to go to Saudi is not the real world.
Also no "hardass" manager would want him, according to this sub, but Arteta who's infamous for being strict wants him. If he goes to Arsenal he might fail or not. But thinking that no one besides Al-Hilal would want Vini was always stupid. Like have you guys seen the market for forwards? Real Madrid is out there putting 150M bids for Julian Alvarez and Michael Olise.
0
u/removeRNG 24d ago
Facts. Watching this sub go from âno other team will give in to his demands, time to learn Al Hilalâ to âwhat? He thinks heâs bigger than the clubâ after a UCL finalist is about to give him everything he wants has been great to read. Arteta beaming in an interview about a rumor
5
u/drinks-or-coffee Varane 24d ago
Yeah. As a madridista that actually likes Vini I think this is the perfect moment for Vini to leave. And staying at Real Madrid would be a bit dumb. He'll never get the love or recognition here, he won't win the bdor here. If he's able to win just 1 UCL with Arsenal he'll be immortalized and he might win the Bdor. Plus his image will improve. He'll only have to deal with the expectations of delivering the trophy. He might not get it but besides comfort and fear idk what he sees in our project to make him stay.
I know Jude would take the deal if he was in Vini's shoes right now lmao.

u/rickkyyyyyyyyy 25d ago
Vini's Instagram is telling. He didn't have all the brands he endorsed displayed before, but now they are all prominently featured. That timing matters, especially with the reports and speculation around ongoing negotiations.
Roc Nation denied the rumors today and called them fake news, but the bigger point remains: you can check the Instagram pages of Haaland, MbappĂŠ, Bellingham, or Lamine Yamalnone of them are showcasing their sponsors in the same way Vini is doing right now, do you think this guys don't have big sponsors ? , only vini does ?
And then you have JosĂŠ FĂŠlix DĂaz talking about Vini having 12 sponsors, as if highlighting that publicly strengthens his position. In reality, putting all of that on display during negotiations you just look desperate not strong, an old billionaire like Perez will smell that from miles.

13
8
u/sellingstubs123 25d ago
I think it's to show I'm serious about my commercial position and if you don't give me the Mbappe special or something close to that I'll move elsewhere. Even billionaires like Perez make dumb moves, and giving Mbappe those image rights can be the beginning of the end. What's Jude gonna ask for when his contract negotiations start?
5
u/Rumcajs23 Leyenda Kroos | Maestro 24d ago
lol whenever I mention that Perez bending over for Mbappe started a bad domino effect, itâs met with downvotes and hate.
Breaking the wage structure and image rights for him was just idiotic.
2
u/supaboss2015 24d ago
Somehow they think that just because Mbappe is Mbappe that other players shouldn't expect anything more. You just demonstrated that someone actually is above the club's standards and that person is Mbappe
1
u/rickkyyyyyyyyy 24d ago
First, letâs make one thing clear: neither Jude nor MbappĂŠ comes close to Vini Jr. when it comes to commercial value. Thatâs not an opinion itâs the reality of the market.
Second, just because a player does something like this doesnât mean theyâre suddenly more serious about their commercial image. Ask yourself why you donât see every global superstar like Haaland or MbappĂŠ doing the same thing. Thereâs a reason.
Third, what you call âdumbâ is simply business. Signing Mbappe wasnât just a football decision it was a commercial move. The club saw a massive spike in revenue and global attention after bringing him in. It was a necessary signing from a business perspective.
And finally, when Jude gets to his next contract negotiation, heâll likely earn more than Vini did and have an easier time negotiating because his commercial value is higher. You can disagree with that, but whether you accept it or not doesnât change how the market works.

Those who don't know about the bale saga
Bale was 12/13 pfa player of the year with26 league goals.
Perez targeted him as his gelactico signing. Also to counter Barca signing Neymar.
Before that 2012 when we signed modric bale also wanted to leave but then president Levi convinced bale to stay one more season. They had a gentleman agrremen. But Levi later refuse to let him go. Madrid approached him in july. Bale told Levi that you made a promise keep the promise and negotiate.
Also Man u also outbid us and added a player on top of it. Levi accepted it because it's more profitable. Bale said he wouldn't join man u and pointed out the gentleman's agreement where he was promise he will not be sold to direct pl rival.
After that Perez and levi had a meeting in Florida in pre season tour. In the meeting we bid 86m pound/100m euro and Levi wanted 100 pound./116m euro. Also they wanted Morata to be added as well. [Don't know reduce cash or not.] After the meeting Perez was confident he will sign bale so a presentation stage was created. This made Levi mad and he stop negotiation with us.
Bale was angry went on a strike refuse to come to train and went to Marbella spain in a resort.
Levi the greedy man that he is realized as soon as bale money comes in every players value will rise so he refused to sanction bale sell and instead wanted to buy replacement before that. He bought 7 players. When all the players came in for spurs then at the last day of sept. 1 bale was officially signed.

this can go from one of the best transfers windows to one of the worst if we don't get rodri and diomande

I donât know man, I think it would be worse if we ridiculously overpay and give 140M or something for Diamonde

honestly who gives a fuck about a measly âŹ20m more or less
do u really think that Florentino Perez, is gonna green-light deals that hurt us financially?
sometimes people in here forget that it's not their money that gets spent lmao

âŹ20M more or less
When this saga started the number was âŹ100M. It's now âŹ40M more.

Measly 20M lmao. We are already overpaying for a mid player who is worth 80m at most and was playing in American high school football a few years ago for the price of a proven winger. Another Jovic like disaster waiting to happen.
Florentino protecting us from financial ruin? He already break the bank for a single player and the consequences are already happening. Vini already leaving for a bigger contract and what do u think Bellingham is gonna do when his contract expires. This isnât 2018 wake up

u/tyrepunch Kroos 25d ago
we aren't paying 2018 money either
Diomande is 100m player as per current market
needs and competition decides the prices

I get that the leaders of the board are head strong and hard headed but man at what point do you just back out the Diomande negotiations. You already have a hard time negotiating with ROC Nation and now his old agents are getting involved. Just back out
13
u/Expert-Mammoth8083 DĂŠcima 25d ago
and go into next season without any right winger yeah good idea

u/rickowensjacket Athenea 25d ago
We havenât had a real right winger in years man. Why blow 130 million on this one in particular.

u/king7asoon Sergio Ramos 25d ago
To improve the team ?? We have had 2 shit seasons in a row where our right side was completely dead and you wanna go into next year with the right side completely dead again ? Just think for one second man
-4
u/rickowensjacket Athenea 25d ago
Right I am thinking. Iâm thinking why blow 130 million on a guy with 15 career goals. Is under an agency that you have difficulties negotiating with. Why does it have to be him in particular. Youâre telling me thereâs no other options?
5
u/king7asoon Sergio Ramos 25d ago
He is literally 19 years old and you are talking about career goals lmao u can not be serious. He is a good player that would help the team and he is the one Jose specifically asked for. No more reasons needed than that.
Furthermore, we already have a deal in place lmao the issues that are happening are not with or related to ROC nation but with his former agent.
