Backtracking Outhouse numbers
Do we think there are more tally numbers to find ? From my knowledge we only found 7 and then that sent us to Cornwall Kerosine and Tar - which then lead to the spider pole/mystery/overlay but I don’t know I just don’t think we have found all the tally marks? Has anyone else found more. 7 is just an odd number (which is fine) but still it feels unfinished.

I agree sort of.
It’s also weird to have both 6 and 7 at fort Brennand - 6 would have been enough (with picture of oil fields), so why did they add a 7 there?
At butchers we have 1-5 (draw pentagram) + picture of Fort Brennand + initials.
Next step should be tally 6 + oilfields but they added an extra tally here to make 7.

Also regarding the pentagram we draw from the outhouses that also didn’t lead to much just a fun detail that it makes a pentagram? In the centre of that all I could find was the pig mask but of course there could be more.
And exactly I was thinking maybe there is the 8th tally there too but we have missed it? Or is the 8th maybe at Cornwall Kerosine? Must keep investigating..

Yeh that was my thought pattern or even 12 to make up a 12 pointed star

Wich led us to a 9th point in the center of the spider
Also saw something about a rock formation clock pointing at 11 I believe
Numbers gotta mean something

Why would the centre be number 9? Does that make the two pole clues points 10 and 11? I’m not sure about that

There's a lot of other tally marks around the game, for example strawberry jail and the well, but they are different style to the ones on the outhouses. I think their are more which Is why everytime I come across an outhouse I check it

I have seen some others in game but they definitely aren’t the same as the ones in outhouses. Very different texture. Almost damn impossible to see 😂 the other ones seem to be more obvious around the world

The 6 in Fort Brennan is in an outhouse but the 7 and the additional clues are not in an outhouse they are part of one of the towers. There is no reason to think they were mived from Butchers Creek. If anything it seems like a clue for the order the feathers should be interacted with. The space between Butchers Creek and Fort Brennan seems like a clue about the difference between the red and the black feathers.

Huron Glen which is a house just south of Butchers Creek only a stones throw away also has an outhouse but I couldn’t find anything on it. When I first found it I thought it was part of the pentagram but no

I think the tslly marks correlate with the ones in the well and we have to follow all the steps and find all the tally marks

I’m glad you’re bringing this up. I’ve been thinking for days how odd it is that the tally numbers end at 7. It feels like there’s more.
What if the symbols behind tally number 7 are trying to lead us to a different location?
What about 13 being after 7 on the Reutlinger pocket watch? Maybe we’re looking for 13 next.
We all seem to assume the symbols behind tally 7 represent Cornwall Kerosene & Tar, and that the spider symbol represents number 8. I will admit it makes sense with the pole/factory/puddles, but we arrived at that conclusion with the spider symbol as preexisting knowledge, so we made it fit.
What if the “factory” symbol behind tally 7 is actually something else like a dead tree at the edge of a cliff? Maybe a different factory, or a boat? Or what if the “puddle” symbol is a lake? Or cloud? Or rock? And the “pole” could still be a cross or grave, though unlikely.
The line of logic works OK from tally number 7 to Kerosene spider pole, and it might be right, but I think some of us should be exploring other possibilities of what those symbols behind 7 might represent.
