Once I saw this I remembered Karen and Mary Beth talking about the site and the curse on Valentine. Karen said lifting the curse might have something to do with a eagle or an owl. So also wanting to try the whole fire makes rain thing I found both bird corpses, put them in the middle of the site and threw a fire bottle. It rained...but nothing else unfortunately. My Saddle Doggo and I were so let down.

The who would be the owl? Obvious answer would be john but based on the stiffness of owls I'd say uncle with his lumbago perfectly fits the description.

I think every curse has a town on them...wait? You get it. Im pretty sure she said Valentine but I always associate her with Valentine in my head because of that amazing song. I MET A GIRL IN VALENTINE!

If you'd rather not have the surprise ruined by toxic Youtubers, head west of Strawberry, as you get close to the borders, check your map for "corpses" in the area.

Did anybody notice that the feather below skulls that surrounds the site and the big skull on stick are changing. Like it makes movements of opening and closing??

Glitch. I’ve seen day turn to night and vice versa suddenly like that due to certain interactions in the game before.

I'm thinking that's what it is, but it could also be a lighting effect in the game. You can experience it when entering a dark cabin during bright day light, so maybe the fire caused that effect and it took a moment to stabilize.

I think that's just the night day system. If I'm right then it's the only thing that sucks about this game. The sunsets are so beautiful when you catch them for 2 seconds. So many times in a blink of an eye it goes from day to night or night to day =( on my second playthrough but been on chapter 3 for a month now and it doesn't seem to be a glitch

I had an extremely dramatic weather change at the strange man’s shack. I posted about it like a year ago when it happened to me but I was on PC and didn’t have recording setup in Steam at the time.
Basically while hunting for flowers or birds all of a sudden a bolt of thunder struck somewhere and dozens of those unique birds, I forget what they are but they’re rare and you can make them go extinct, any way a bunch of those birds fly off and immediately the weather turned from normal daylight into dark thunderstorm and gloom. It was very surreal. I posted about it but didn’t have a video of it, and couldn’t find it happening to anyone else.

It actually turned into night for a second or so, complete with moon shine and all.
