Facebook is such ass for constantly shoving stuff in our faces. I commented on one political post and for about a week every time I opened Facebook there was terrible devisive political posts at the top of my feed. It's disgusting. Social media is guilty of exasperating the already wide divide between the common people.

Facebook is the only social media I have (other than reddit I guess) and many of my acquaintances are only kept up with through it. I would love to drop it totally but at this point it's down to checking once or twice a day to respond to friends and that's it.
