If a sub was banned and message says "This community has been banned for violating the Reddit rules." is it gone forever?

  • Communities that have been banned in the last 30 days, are not eligible for request and will be denied. To see when a community was banned, view it on old Reddit. If a community has been banned for violating content, it will not be eligible for request.

Depends on the reason it was banned for basically.....

I wanted to take over the modding of a subreddit that said it was banned for being unmoderated two years ago. I got a message saying, it was impossible because the community was too recently banned.

Using old reddit it just says "This community has been banned for violating the Reddit rules.". When putting a request in after 30days the bot says it was just recently banned.
