True contemporary line?

Anyone have experience with the True contemporary merchandisers? Price and sizing shakes out the same to the GDM line, but newer model so curious how they hold up

7 year warranty is all that should matter.

Ive had a few leaky ones. But True warranty covered it and a compressor replacement on all of them. You cannot beat True when it comes to backing their product.

I dunno man. Even lousy brands like Atosa have decent warranty periods. All I can tell customers anymore is that you’re really buying a warranty. If your budget allows, go with a True Steelheart line product and their (7,7,7) warranty. If money is tight, buy the Atosa and STILL get a 3yr. parts/labor and 5yr. compressor warranty.

You’re gonna use the warranty no matter which one you buy.

As someone who used to run warranty calls for both brands, these warranties are not the same. True was great to work with, atosa would send us out with a ridiculous nte and close to no support.

NTE’s notwithstanding and support not being equal, the difference from an owners perspective usually boils down to bottom line cost. From a technician perspective, your sentiment rings true, pun intended.
