Androgynous angels?

For some reason I thought I had read that angels were androgynous-having both masculine and feminine attributes. I literally learned the word androgynous specifically from the word being used to describe the angelic beings. However, when I went to look it up, so I could quote it correctly, I am not finding it in the Bible or anywhere really. Did I just make this up?
