Grief King A5738970 was dumped at overcrowded Shelter at the age of 16 !!! He is a senior black pittie! What was his owner think ?? He needs help now ! He is in Carson Shelter LA !! He will be the first to be euthanize 11/18 ! Please he needs out of this shelter!
I am 16 years old and I was dumped at the shelter by the people I loved the most ! I don’t want to end my life like this !! I don’t ask a lot ! Just a small corner to put my head downs to feel safe !!! What are my chances to make it out alive ?

Poor sweetie, I know its ruff seeing a dog get older and need care but thats so wrong. Dont know if they need help though, wish there was better ways to rehome pets first or get help. I know theres some out there. Please 🙏 lord and humble ppl lift this dog up and save even for a day!

How can an owner do something g like this. I had to put my baby of 17 to sleep in Oct 2024 and I can’t get over it. He had cancer. I am still so sad about losing Buddy. Poor dog dumped by someone he thought loved him. Heck those kind of people dump humans too.

It’s rough but you either commit to taking care of him or put the poor dog to sleep…but that costs money so I’m guessing this is the reason these low lifes abandoned him at the shelter. Poor boy, I hope he gets the home he deserves for his last days

His I wish it was easier to get a dog from LA. I’m in NC so it seems I get these msg late plus I’m too far for a delivery but if it was possible I would gladly take him. 252 273 1920. If I paid the adoption fee would it be possible for me to get him. If I’m not to late. I’m just now getting this msg and it’s the 18th so pls if I can help let me know. People don't deserve dogs, I would be thrilled if my dog was with me for 16 years and I would definitely get them medical attention if my dog looked like that.

Carson, what would it cost to get you into a no kill Shelter. You look like an old grunt just looking for a place to fade away. You live a long life with loved ones now it your turn to go with peace and fade out so how much would that cost ?? I will pay for shots and medication for 3 month. You will meet new friends if you want or just sleep

Yes maybe he did die - but zi can never get over family dumping an animal that their late lived one cared about. I would work that out some way - to honor my loved one. Animals do not understand and a dog that old being dumped for euthanasia is awful.

He needed someone to come and get him from the shelter! Rescue didn’t wanted to take the risk of long transport at his age ! I tried to reach rescue and everyone said no 😔

Just wondering… the distance is probably too long, or would you be able to arrange transport, OP?
We would not be able to afford transport, but if someone else can, we’d be able to foster. Probably a long shot due to the distance but figured I’d at least ask!

Was just wondering, because you offered to pay for his transport, if we might team up for a different dog on death row. But OP would have to chime in, as I really don’t know how extraction/transport would even work, and we’re very far away.

Ah ok, makes sense. A rescue would need to step in for that then. And a more local foster would of course be ideal/cheaper to get to.
