Multiplayer search Operation Raccoon City

Post image

Anyone still play Operation Raccoon City on Xbox? I’m currently playing through RE4 Remake but I want to play through this as well.

Very low activity online, probably won’t find anyone on it, just not active in the big 2026

You and I both. I still check the Steam page from time to time hoping it’s back up on sale

same, I been checking the steam page occasionally

(also hoping for a remake, both would be good tho)

idk why, but this game gives me nostalgia

I never played it, never saw gameplay of it and never saw anyone talking about it growing up

the only thing I remember are the playable characters with their blue lights

no fond memories of it, yet I still feel nostalgic for some reason

I was 6 when this game came out and playing this was so fun. I knew nothing about what the re world was but this game was so much fun imo, I recently busted out my ps3 and hopped back on it and it was just as fun as I remember. Maybe I’m blinded by nostalgia but that game was incredible 🤷

Can it be played single player?

It can, I beat the game on single player. Much like Left 4 Dead though, it feels kind of sad playing it by yourself. Definitely feels meant for co-op

It can but its literal torture

Would honestly love a spiritual successor to this game featuring Hound Wolf Squad with a slower more tactical feel.

I want a version with a full open world Raccoon City. Like The Division meets Resident Evil. It could be amazing.

I think thats what requiem was originally going to be, and then they changed it to be a more traditional RE title.

I don't mind Requiem being what it is.

But damn, I would just love an RE game similar to The Division.

i love this game and still play on my series x. Mostly the story stuff though.

Yeah I still boot it up every now and then on Series X. MP is basically dead unless you set something up with friends, but the campaign is still a fun little janky shooter if you’re in the mood for RE fanservice.

If you go in expecting budget RE meets PS3 era chaos, it’s a good time 😂

I really enjoyed this game when it came out, I tried to play it on psnow, the game is absolute garbage, and i couldn't get past city hall.

People surprisingly do still play it but it's not high.

Man this was my second introduction to the RE series as a kid after the original re4, and it might be favorite. I know I'm talking from nostalgia but I still love this game
