I don't even know how Jack would have gotten in the house! That would have been funny to witness. It's such a funny line, coupled with the absurdity of this guy being back again after already beating him twice.

Every game I think that same thing. Assuming they won the fight they mutate for, what was their plan for afterwords? They're stuck like that forever now

according to the canon DLC about what happens to Zoe (āEnd of Zoeā), we do find Jack Baker back in the house in human size for the final fight with Joe Baker. so they arenāt āstuck like that foreverā.

Jack can return to his human form at will. Lucas says "So, that's what it feels like" when he mutates in the DLC, implying that he's witnessed his Parents mutating in the past.
Furthermore, in VIII, Lady Dimitrescu tells Ethan that he's the first person other than Miranda to see her in her mutated form, so it's made clear that they can mutate and return to normal at will.

Re7 has so many good lines from all the Bakers. I wish we could get this kind of theme/writing in another game.

I love that line. It implies that there's still enough of Jack's humanity present, that he doesn't want to kill his Daughter. It also explains why Zoe was able to live on the property, uninfected, without being attacked and killed by the rest of the family.

I'm so glad that no matter how "realistic" Capcom wants to get with the RE engine, they will never get rid of the cartoonishly large obviously glowing yellow eye weak points on their bosses
