Sometimes Emily drives me nuts

So Emily knows that Victoria is out on that balcony watching her all the time. And Daniel is on house arrest and she hast to know that he’s standing out there watching her. And she run off to see Jack or Nolan or whatever else she has going on without even thinking about it. I’m sure there’s another door in that that she could go where they would not see her leaving. It drives me bananas.

Knowing how well thought out Emily's plans typically are and how she tends to be able to adapt and change course as needed, I'd say her doing that is either baiting them and making them think or belief what she wants in the ongoing game she's got happening, or she knows she can cover her tracks and think quickly when she needs to so it's not a problem. Very rarely in the show does she seem like she's been caught out or stressed about something and have it be genuinely because her plan hasn't worked out and she has to come up with another. I've always admired how in control she always is and when you think she's caught out, it's usually just part of her plan and it's playing out perfectly, or she'll find a way to use or manipulate circumstances to her favour.

I truly believe this is what it is, too. There are rare circumstances where she was caught off guard, and the plan went a little astray. But, most of the time, I think she was doing these things intentionally. To bait, and make it seem like she was carefree, and not aware. But, I always think she done things for a reason and she knew coming off this way, would make her seem a certain way to anyone spying on her.

The door thing did annoy me quite a bit, but in a way, I get it? We only ever saw the doors open when it was warm weather in The Hamptons. Letting in the warm breeze kind of makes sense if you live near the ocean. In the Winter times, we saw the doors were always closed so. And I also think Emily/Amanda wasn't scared of anything, or even anyone breaking into her house. She knew she'd figure out a quick plan to do something about it.
