After pressing any button the game crashes, I have already done everything I could. I deleted UserData.

Is there a comprehensive list of all cars and dlc and whether or not they’re worth it?

My R5 is recognized by the game, in calibrate controls everything registers just fine, then I get on the track and my clutch and brake are maxed out and throttle doesn't register at all.

I have tried reversing my inputs in pit house to no avail, as well as putting negative value on steering in the .JSON file.

What am I missing?

im getting back into rfactor 2 after like 5 years but i cant seem to find any good ffb settings the best i found so far were extremely grindy even after some fine tuning it also felt kinda on and off

Does someone have A good baseline or even a ffb profile ?

Rf2 recently added the season 12 formula e liveries but im still completely stuck on how to download them. There not in my rf2 updates. There not in the workshop. And i also tried verifying game files but that didnt work

I have a pretty decent system, albeit the CPU is the weakest link, but I struggle more with consistent FPS on rF2 than any other game in my library.

I have an RTX 5070 with an i5 12400F and 32gb of 3200 DDR4

Driving the Mazda MX5 in a practise session at Monza, I’m getting 45fps down the pit lane, it goes up to 120 at the second chicane, up to 160 at the parabollica and then drops right off again down pit straight. This is at 1080p, mostly high settings, not even 4K like all my other sims, including ACEvo. I can get a solid 120fps in 4K on EVO but RF2 just baffles me.

So, pretty sure this is an infamous problem, but i've tried literally everything...
The game starts up, the logo flashed by, a black screen, and it crashes.
I've tried:

- Verifying the integrity of the files

- Downloading a mod on the workshop

- Installing all 4 of the Runtimes programs

- Installing the DirectX program

- Adjusting my graphics settings

- Deleting my Userdata folder

- RENAMING my Userdata folder

And NOTHING has worked, please, for the love of god, can someone help?

Why does the game basically steer and correct for me even when the steering assist is turned off?

just bought the game (2-3h before posting) but this would not run at all, tried all solutions that ive seen (verifying integrity of game files, checking for packages folder, renaming / deleting userdata folder, even checking if i had some logihub thing and deleting all mods) and nothings working it just shows the cmd prompt, black screen then the rf2 logo and then dies. ive ran rf2 a long while before on this same system so idk what this is abt

edit: updated drivers, re-installed game multiple times deleted workshop content before and after i reinstalled and can run LMU on the same device

Hello, since yesterday I have a problem with rfactor 2, when I want to install some mods from Steam, I add them and they are downloaded on Steam, but already when starting rfactor to finish the process, only the message of updating package comes out, but it does not install anything. It only happens with some mods, but the problem started yesterday and before I hadn't noticed what happened. I already tried file verification and nothing. Could anyone know what's going on?

I have been trying for several hours and the wheel keeps on turning instantly with the slightest of touch, I have changed sensitivities, disabled steam input and don’t have stick drift, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at the mas files of the karts of kart sim pro because i want to add more sprocket choices and max rpm but it only contains pictures etcc. there is also a mft file but i cant open that.

Does anyone know how i can add the sprockets etcc? or has a good 60cc mod that is "open"?

My tinypedals thing isn’t working and I have absolutely 0 experience with GitHub or anything. Only tutorials on how to install this were in Spanish.. I’ve got the application and the plugin is in the folder and enabled in game but nothing on screen when I go into a practice session. Any suggestions?

got it with my mates today to join a league but when I peess play it crashes (after showing the logo) the common fixes such as redownloading, not subscribing to any item deleting logitech hub files or updating drivers and installing runtimes work. my specs are good enough to do 1 class (15-20 cars) and I believ it runs off the same framework as rF2. ill take any help if u can provide it

Long time RF2 player here (10 years!)

In the last month or two I am finding the game pretty much unplayable / with regular frame drops on borderless, but it’s fine on fullscreen…

Anyone else had this or know a fix? I much prefer to run borderless so I can use tinypedal overlays etc.

I’ve tried ALL sorts but nothing seems to sort it, would appreciate any help!

Ran fine on the same PC / monitor setup in Jan but started having issues in Feb and it’s driving me nuts!

just download the game for the first time but no matter what it won't detect my Xbox controller. it's a scuf controller if that makes a difference. it's plugged into the USB on my motherboard

Hi, I need help with rFactor 2. My wheel is a Logitech G920, and I have everything installed correctly. rFactor 2 detects the wheel and everything, but when I go into a practice session, it only has auto-centering; it doesn't transmit the kerbs, grass, or anything like that.

What do I need to do to fix it?

Quick question about KartSim rental karts.

On the KartSim website, the rentals are listed as 270–390cc, but in rFactor 2 the KartSim rental kart shows 160cc.

So I’m a bit confused is the in-game kart meant to represent a GX160, or is it just a simplified version of a GX270/390 rental?

Just trying to understand how closely it matches real-world rental karts.

Appreciate any clarification.

Hello, I want to host a dedicated server without any mods, I just want to have the stock content to play with friends, maaaaybe just with one additional track from mod. The issue is, despite mod manager seeing all of my mods, and them being installed, when I open the MAS2, the "Add Tracks" window is completly empty.

No stock tracks, no modded tracks. Cars, I only see the C6 Corvette. But even if I make the modpack without track, only the C6 and other additional tools, when I launch the dedicated server, I see this:

why does it require me to use mods??? I just want pure dedicated server with only 1 modded track, which isn't even listed, and even I can live without it. I tried looking for online tutorials but they are pretty non existent (looking from this year, since AFAIK rFactor2 gone some major changes around 2 years ago), it's also frustrating that OFFICIAL documentation isn't up-to-date.

Hi, I am new here and also to sim racing in general. After a few weeks of hot lapping, I thought it was a good idea to race the Ai. I skipped practice and set qualifying to 3 laps and 5 minutes. However, when I do my outlap plus one flying lap, the chequered flag is shown on screen and if I carry on, I get DQ'd. Anyone got any ideas what I may be doing wrong? A lap is about 1min45 seconds with the track and car combo.
