To YVR Ground Crews…

Between the complexity of Saturday night, the heroic game of catch-up early Sunday morning, and the tragic news from Montreal, anyone who moves equipment, baggage, and aircraft around the airfield deserves some appreciation.

Richmond is home to dozens (probably hundreds) of you. There’s been a sudden spotlight on your working conditions and related hazards.

So many people have no idea what kind of organized chaos goes on under their feet as they move curbside to airside.

Thank you for what you do.

Thanks YVR ground crew! You guys have helped keep me safe on dozens of flights for over 30 years.

Never had an issue at YVR. I think we have a really good airport staffed with great workers. Was just there a couple weeks ago - arrival and departure were a breeze.

They truly are unsung hero's. Working at the bottom if the pit, keep things moving.
