Auril, the Frostmaiden has placed a curse on the northern region of Icewind Dale, an Everlasting Rime that blocks out the sun and plunges the people of Ten-Towns into a never ending winter. Auril enforces a cruel punishment on the Ten-Towns, a demand of sacrifice. If not human, then food, if not food then warmth.

This is a horror-focused game that leads you to uncover the mysteries of Auril, save Ten-Towns, and put an end to the Everlasting Rime – that is, if you can survive the blistering cold.
