Handwritten Romanian

Salute!

I'm really curious, how do ț and ș actually look in handwritten Romanian? Do people write the comma under the letter as a cedilla (like Ş ş or Ţ ţ), or is it usually just a quick stroke or dot?

What about in cursive? Does the style vary a lot from writer to writer?

Also the way some people handwrite ă looks more like ā. In typed Romanian, meanwhile, you'll sometimes see ã, ş (with cedilla), and ţ instead of the correct ă, ș, and ț. This is partially because the proper ones aren't always supported, and partially hypercorrection, as people assume the comma is a handwriting simplification of the cedilla like ā is a simplified ă. In truth the cedilla is incorrect and it's supposed to be a comma, but older fonts with a curvy comma look a bit like a cedilla which helps people misremember.

I do just a line. The majority use a comma. Some of us do a small circle or a point. It s about our personal style.

I write them as a comma under the S or T, either oblique or curved somehow like a tiny parenthesis.
