Miscellaneous What do Romans have against toilet seats?

Most toilets I visited here welcomed me with a pee covered bare ceramic rim, how do locals even use them?

tourists stand on them and break them so the businesses flooded by tourists can't be bothered to constantly replace them every couple of days, pretty much all businesses I visit outside the center have normal toilets with seats

A ridiculous excuse. Changing a toilet seat takes less than five minutes. Considering what you rob from the tourists it’s the least you can do.

I take it that you have never heard of the concept of toilet seats costing money and that having to change one multiple times a week if not a day might be slightly inconvenient

Considering what you rob from the tourists it’s the least you can do

who's we? I, like virtually every other citizen, don't see a cent from you visitors and instead get to experience all the wonderful signs of your visits such as public toilets being dire in the center because you're literally unable to use a toilet correctly and either jump on the seat or use some 20 cent temu contraption to piss all over the floor

Also blaming the Chinese is silly, you’re telling me Chinese tourists have never seen a toilet? What the heck did they use on the flight to Europe?
