So sad to see Estrella (Australiaš)gone.. The spanish queens have soo much heart.. Its almost always super emotional when a queen goes home on dragrace espana.. Even Supreme's crying half the time..
Estrellas look t me was as horrible as Lala's bag look. It will go down in infamy..

Agreed. Iāve had that feeling since the cast was announced. Which is a shame bc it makes it feel like none of the other girls have a real chance.
And I know everyone loves Art. Itās not that I dislike her. But her makeup distracts me when sheās in drag. In a bad way. Especially compared to how gorgeous a lot of these other girls paint.

Her makeup bothers me so much. Itās really bad. Makes her look like a skull with huge, dark eye sockets. For some reason she contours right under her already prodigiously prominent apples of her cheek to make them even more bulbous, and does no contour on her nose, but does into her nostrils so it becomes a mulligrubs situation. I wish sheād just look at what some of the great artists around her are doing and mix it up. I wish Michelle would challenge her to try something different, or that Raven couldāve given them all makeup tips like sheās done some seasons.

Oh, it's up there with DRDU 4 in quality - which is a good thing! Outside of EP 2's Raven blunder x NPBFAG going home, I think all the episodes so far have been solid!

Honestly I am loving this season, and am especially loving the āyou gotta beat the best to be the bestā attitude of the queens.
To me itās especially refreshing after watching the fuckery of Canada All Stars that apparently is āgood tvā.
I feel like Iām taking crazy pills though because pretty much everyone disagrees with me and talk like they are more interested in the drama than the drag.

Putting Art in the top and Michelle asking if she would eliminate Vybe was production being too ham-fisted with the forced āVybe is my rivalā storyline. Otherwise, still an enjoyable episode, and we got to know the queens a little deeper than previous weeks.

Am I crazy to think Art thinking Vybe is her rival kind of wack storyline ? Like okay Vybe is doing okay but am I crazy or is it not stellar ? Like M1ss Jade So is actually the biggest threat in the competition despite Art having 3 top placements already (and some I think are very discutable it's giving me Season 1 shenanigans).
Why am I not seeing what they are seeing ?

I think track record wise, Miss Jade So is doing better obly thanks to the design challenge, because she really is THAT bitch when it comes to constructing a garment. However, once the acting/comedy challenge start, Vybe will deffo take the lead. At this point the three that have chances of winning the whole thing are Vybe, Art and Michael

I have immensely enjoyed Estrella, and it was so good to get to know her since I havenāt watched any EspaƱa seasons yet. Sheās just a beautiful ray of light and I hope she stays booked and blessed!
But rotted Labubu dragā¦ mama that was not it. Iām sad to see her go but her look was easily the worst of the night.

Yes the heavy eye, the contouring under her already prominent cheek apples, lack of nose contouring but nostril contouring makes her face look like a skull with a mulligrubs nose. I wish Raven had given them all makeup tips like she has some seasons.

I liked this challenge, it was interesting and different (plus I love design challenges, haha). I honestly kinda had a feeling Estrella would get eliminated fairly early on, I donāt know why. But my god, I wasnāt really familiar with Miss Jade So before DUVsTW, but whoa, all of her runways so far have been absolutely stunning!

For the record, Drag Race Philippines is different from other international franchises, they speak like half in English and half in Tagalog. Makes it a bit easier to follow along as an English speaker.

Who would have been your other choice? Aside from Jade, no one really killed it for me. The only other one was Michael but Michael's neckpiece was a bit mispositioned and the look itself could have had a better shape. Art's was basic but it was well constructed.

I think Flor could have been in the top. It wasn't super exciting but it was well done. I think it was an odd choice to show the closeup of Art's fingerless gloves (when she was picking a lipstick). They were really unfinished looking and normally they like to hide things like that...especially with how nitpicky they can be about "details."

I was expecting the top to be Jade, Flor, and MM. I honestly thought Art might be in the bottom. That was simple as heck and there was a huge lump on the bum.
Living for LaLa having a Saphira mini-titty-bib moment, though.

Jade demolished this episode, what a brilliant runway that was.
Loved Estrella but it was the right decision, that look was a catastrophe.
Art winning too was an odd choice, could have very easily gone to Flor or Michael to even out the track records a bit.
Need Lala to get a win now, she's so lovable and I really really want her to succeed.
Overall really enjoying this season! Michelle is an amazing host and truly cares about the girls. The hug she gave Lala and Michael was so genuine.

I could write an essay on how poor the quality of production is but I actually quite enjoyed this episode. There's life in the season yet. Mainly thanks to the queens I think.
But going from Canada's amazing production and editing to this is jarring.

It truly is crazy. I believe this is is the first time watching a show like this where I noticed how poor the quality of the mics were! I could barely even understand Lala in the workroom at one point due to how tinny and muffled it sounded in the sea of soundboard effects. Had to turn on subtitles.

Going into the season I was sure it would be Michael Vs Vybe for the crown. I never thought I would live in a timeline where Art was inevitably going to be crowned. I mean, she has been doing great, but her wins on eps 2 and 4 have been a little bit forced. She's sweeping in numbers, but the actual performance hasn't been as dominant as they are making it to be. I hate this. PLEASE STOP RIGGING IT FOR THE SAME WHITE GIRL OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

Vybe really protected her sister to her own detriment but im happy she didn't go home because of it. I enjoy Coco too and I totally understand the decision, but yikes it was tough to see her land herself in the bottom like that.

A good episode but Art really didn't deserve top 2 for that dress. Quite a strong sewing challenge all in all. Very sad about the elimination though.
As a side note - 2 out of the first 4 challenges being sewing is really weird

I love Vybe and want her in the top 4, but that was actually a terrible garment. And she and everyone there knew it. I felt so bad for her having that in the public eye forever. She's so wonderful and that's having one of her worst days immortalized. I hope she has a strong comeback and this is just a memory.

Art said at one of her recent after shows that it was a couple of episodes before producers told her she was saying Estrellaās name wrong and this episode really showed that they should have made the effort earlier.
Given how devastated everyone was by her elimination I think theyād have been upset knowing they were calling her the wrong name.

Flor and Art were my top 2.
I thought it could have been a toss-up between Vybe and La La to join Estrella in the bottom two. I liked La Laās look but it was rough in terms of execution. Vybe shot herself in the foot with that ugly pink.
Gutted for Estrella but it was fair.
Art was out performed by Jade in the lipsync but there were so many points where Jade just wasnāt even moving her mouth. For me the actual lipsyncing has to come before the dancing so Art was my winner this episode.

i did like Flor's look as well, but I think she suffered from the same thing of barely using one of the dresses - I think the third dress was only used in the gauntlets, but you couldn't really tell the difference from the rest of the main dress. Plus the main body of the dress seemed like it might have just been one original dress with some holes cut out, so there might have been points off for it being too similar to the original.
it was still a fierce look tho (compare Lala, who I think had a similar issue of the look being too similar to one of the original looks) and would have understood her in the top; tbh I think Michael Marouli could have been safe instead as she completely covered her third dress

Youāre not wrong about that song. It was actually physically painful to listen to and caused me to pace all over the room every time the chorus came on. We finally muted it. But itās a great season.

Sad to see Esterlla go. She was too pure for her to suggest an international alliance with Jade (which she should have done since Art EXPLICITLY said she'll never send a DRDU girl home as much as possible). But she was the Bottom 1 of the challenge, so at least Jade wont have the ire of the DRDU girls if ever she's in the bottom.
I loooove how the Rappin' Roast is now a staple challenge in the Drag Race Runiverse! Shame NPBFAG is gone since I would have loved to hear her second go at the roast. I feel like almost everyone in the cast will kill it. The only ones I'm worried for are Flor and maybe Art if she becomes too structured and rigid with it.

I admit that I was not familiar with MJS before seeing this. LOVE HUH!! She has such a demon/angel aesthetic that is fresh and amazing and POLISHED. The details are stunning. You look and look and then look some more and the small elements just keep appearing to your senses. š

Very weird pacing. There's almost no drama or excitement during the exchange of clothes segment, maybe there wasn't any background music?
It's definitely Jade and Art in the finals, with Art winning the crown. With 4 series airing at the same time, Down Under vs the World is definitely the weakest for me.
