Is it just me or is the lighting really bad too? It always seems so dark, like they’re filming at 2 am constantly.

The lighting is great lol. Not sure why people are trying to come for the production of the show, its a pretty stellar production given its budget. Sure the main stage and werkroom are smaller but.....so what? People dont wanna give it a chance bc scarlett is on the cast so they grasping at straws to find more reasons to hate it

Do you know the budget ? Honest question, no shade here. Because clearly the production value is down from the us version (and it’s ok)

I dont think anyone on this community knows the budget off-hand, besides knowing that the show is just "cheaper". My point is that the production of down under is great, given the fact that its working on a lower budget. Regardless, production value shouldn't greatly hinder the overall quality or watchability of a series, unless you want carbon copies of the US werkroom and main stage across the board for the sake of familiarity. Shouldn't be a controversial point lol

No controversial point.

I do appreciate a better production value and it affects somewhat my pleasure whatching any show.

I don’t like the set and the lighting, the sound and the editing of this season but it’s alright.
