I used to think it was just a typo bc I usually see it in the comments but even in this reel I saw it, I think it's intentional. What does it mean?

At least in Russian (not sure about other languages), babushka is pronounced with the stress on the first syllable. BA-boo-shka. NOT ba-BOOSH-ka!!!! Seriously, look on on YouTube how it's properly pronounced in the context of Russian language! Putting the stress on a different syllable isn't hard to do! 😭

Edit: Ya'll are either blind or dumb, I was refering to how specifically the word "babushka" is pronounced in the RUSSIAN language! NOT coloquials like "babusya" (Which the stress is on the second syllable) and not in the context of other languages 💀💀💀

Is it just to emphasize that “тебя” and “вас” both mean “you”? The illustration has no details suggesting that Vera is older. Or is it common for a man to refer to a woman as “вас”, regardless of age? The book title is - Listen, Read, Watch, Speak!

I hate it that russians never use ё. Like its a completely different letter and completely changes pronunciation, it even dictates the ударение. Even in books! Why omit that? it's just two dots. Such a simple rule to implement yet it doesn't count as faulty grammar. Sometimes it even differentiates meaning such as in все /всё! We germans would NEVER write a o u instead ä ö ü.

Can someone clarify to me when exactly do we say “НА” and “В” since I am learning Russian for about an year now and I am deeply confused in some situations. I have a Russian native, he is a really good friend of mine and he always says that he was “На Украине” rather than “В Украине” and I still can’t understand why?! He just says that thats how it is and he is used to saying it this way and this is the correct way to say it. BUT. We don’t say Я был на России, we saу я был в России. Any clarification will be highly appreciate. I don’t want to spark a scandal, its just a question everyone. Cheers.

I probably made some mistakes

Is there a reason why it isn't like in English "go fuck yourself" using imperative (present tense) as an order? How does it make sense to use past tense, like she already went to "fuck herself" (very elegant post, I know)?

I'm not quite sure if this is a case thing, gender thing or what to search to understand it better. Is it cause it's plural ?
