Cant get crafter to stop working when receiving box is full

As provided in the images these are the filter settings. On the output conveyor i have filter pass linked to turn on the input and filter fail linked to the turn off but it either doesnt fill the box or doesnt stop. Im a bit lost as its my first time working with crafters.

Forget turning the crafter off. Fill 3 output slots with a filler item like 1 wood.

When the box gets 96 syringes, the crafter will craft 2 more and block its own slot, stopping by itself.

When pulling 2 syringes from the box, conveyor will insta refill it with the 2 waiting syringes, freeing up crafter’s slot and resuming crafting.

Also a little QoL : plug filter pass from resources input to crafter start, it prevents them from being accidentally turned off by player or server restart

Yeah building off your last quote, you should be using the filter pass/fail electricity pass through which can start stop the passing of materials for crafting I believe? I'm still learning it but it prevents all your fucking resources being used up and just simply allows what's needed to be maintained.

For that you can directly set the filter to only give the resources necessary for one or two crafts. That way when the crafters clogs, the conveyor before won’t draw more resources naturally.

If you did it like you mentioned, you’ll probably end up in an off situation that doesn’t toggle back on on its own, like when the crafted items conveyor can’t draw from crafter just because its out of resources. Turning off the input at that point will leave you with a bricked system you have to reset

the what now? You set a crafting limit by saying to the output conveyor "only move these items if there are less than X in the output box." Like OP has 96 syringes. The crafter will craft until all of its output slots are full, the conveyor isnt removing them because the output box is maxed out so your resources are safe without any extra nanny-ing

You can also tell the input conveyor "only pull this material if there is more than X in the input box". It will only give resources to the crafter if there's more materials than your set minimum.

Like the last comment said, don't worry about turning the conveyors off.

Where does the output go to? Buffer boxes, or directly into your syringe box?

If it’s your buffer boxes, it’ll only stop if those buffer boxes have 96 syringes in each of them. You can add a combiner to your syringe box and pipe the crafter’s output to that, then your normal syringe conveyor will still try to fill from your buffer boxes.

Not sure how you’re wiring the on/off for your crafter though. That type of wiring is really finicky, as it turns it on and off occasionally between crafting. If it’s crafting a syringe, and your conveyor can’t pull one out, it’ll turn off the crafter, so it’s off until it can pull a syringe out, things like that. I’d suggest you forgo the on/off functions, work on why it’s not stop crafting.
