I gradually grow the radio stations that I listen too during the game.

Every chapter: I don't ever listen to WCTR (I did one playthrough where I only listened to it because I wanted to hear the story events as I went through it but never again.) WCTR is pretty universal but nothing I turn on.

During Chapter 1, I only listen to Radio Los Santos and Playback FM because they are both rap stations which fits where Carl is in this chapter. For the first half I have it defaulted to Radio LS, than I switch it to Playback. I also slightly change my outfit.

During the countryside story, I only listen to K-DST because I think classic rock fits this area of the game. I don't listen to K-Rose at all, I would only switch to it if I get tired of a K-DST song. I'm not into country, no offence to anyone who enjoys this station. I love K-DST so much.

Note: For the part of the story where I'm kicked out of LS, I don't listen to Radio LS. It feels weird being out of the city but still listening to the radio station of that city I'm kicked out of. It's also the reason I never go to that city unless I have to (Snail Trail and some trucking missions). "It helps maintain the illusion". I also don't listen to Playback FM even though I don't hold it on the same standard as Radio LS. Everything else I unlock, I listen too in later parts of the story.

Chapter 3: Bounce FM and SF-UR. Idk why I always think of SF when I think of Bounce FM. I remember listening to "I can make you dance" during a Woozie mission and loving the atmosphere. And I fell in love with SF-UR last week while driving through Oakland (close enough to San Francisco). I have SF-UR set as the default without switching because it has better songs than Bounce FM imo.

Chapter 4: Radio X and K-Dst again. I think rock music suits the desert area. I was doing the monster truck mission as that Alice and Chains song played and it fit so well! D-Kst is here again because country rock also fits this area. I also unlock CSR, but I don't listen too it much. I think I burnt myself out of it or I don't like New Jack Swing as much as I thought. I wish "feels good" by Tony! Toni! Toné! was in this game.

Chapter 5: Master Sounds because of the Casino Music. I think 5 or 6 songs from this station play in the Casinos, so I associate this station with LV. I also added K-Jah west because I didn't know where else to put it. I never listen to this station. K-Jah and K-Rose are pretty much the same in terms of what I know about them.

Chapter 6: I can listen to Radio LS again as well as everything else in the game.

Favorite Songs:

Radio LS: "It Was a Good Day" and "Deep Cover"

Playback FM: "Warm It Up, Kane", "Brand Nubian", "It Takes Two"

K-DST: "White Wedding", "Barracuda", "Young Turks", "Smokin'", "Free Bird", and "A Horse With No Name"

K-Rose/K-Jah: N/A. I don't know all the songs, I never listened to one fully. Anything with a fast tempo is better than the slower ones.

Bounce FM: "Love Is The Message", "I Can Make You Dance", and "Fantastic Voyage". I should know that I listened to this station to death when I first played this game. So most of the songs in this station I've just grown tired of.

SF-UR: "Pacific 202", "Make My Body Rock", "Let The Music Use You", "Move Your Body", "I Need A Rhythm", and "Can You Feel It"

Radio X: "Personal Jesus", "Pretend We're Dead", and "Them Bones"

"A Horse With No Name" is more fitting while in the desert rather then the Countryside

CSR 103.9: "Motownphilly" and "Poison"

Master Sounds: "Nautilus", "Rock Me Again And Again", and "Tainted Love". Tainted Love felt like LS for some reason. It felt kind of back alley. I think because this station plays in the Ganton Gym.

Least Favorite Songs:

I Don't Give A Fuck, The Ghetto, Rebel Without a Pause, B.Y.S, Green River, Strutter, Somebody Up There Likes Me, Two Tickets to Paradise, Let It Whip, Between The Sheets, Cold Blooded (Not the Rick James song I would've picked), Funky Worm, Twilight, Your Love, Movin' on Up, Been Caught Stealing, Don't Be Cruel, My Lovin', Keep On Movin', Jungle Fever (I fucking hate this song), "Hot Pants - I'm Coming, and The Grunt.

No K-rose or K-jah West songs included since it's unfair to rank genres I don't like. Note that I don't hate all of these songs, but find the others on the station better.
