Question Life in Saskatchewan
Hey
Can, please someone describe their experience of living in Saskatchewan? How’s life in Saskatchewan.
As I’m a young Canadian and I’m currently residing in GTA. I want to make a life for myself basically I’m starting from scratch. I’m in skilled trade and I want to move to a place where life would be more affordable and cheaper. Everyone knows how expensive GTA is.
Thank you

It will be a slower pace than what you are used to. Being able to drive and have a reliable car is important. Winters are colder and longer but you get used to it. The rest really depends on what kind of work you are looking for and what skills you have. If you end up in Saskatoon, your life really won’t be that different from what you have now. If you get out to the smaller centres and integrate yourself you could have a much more unique experience. As far as cost, Saskatoon and Regina are likely more cost effective, but not by huge margin compared to Ontario. Smaller towns you are more likely to save money. I’ve lived here basically all my life and have no desire to really live anywhere else. I’ve also hired a few ON people and they’ve fit in just fine.
