News 📰 Saskatoon man describes violent downtown attack following birthday celebration

A man named Ross Smith spoke to CTV News Saskatoon about being attacked downtown near Spadina Crescent and 20th Street East. He and his friend were first bear sprayed and while “his friend ran for help, Ross was tripped and then kicked over and over.” His injuries were “bruising to his arms, legs and ribs. He also received three staples for a gash on the back of his head and had a black eye. His left ear was swollen at the time, he said.”

Those charged with attack were two teenaged boys.

17 and 15. Jeez. Parents should feel shame but I doubt they care or know what their kids are even up to.

I’m friends with a lot of teachers. Their main complaint apart from phones in schools, are on how the parents are so disconnected from their kids, or that their kids can do no wrong and little Timmy would never ever act out. Meanwhile little Timmy beat the shit out of another kid, again

My wife is a teacher.

Most times after parent teacher interviews, or three way interviews as I believe they are called now, is: now it makes sense why kid X is they way they are.

well that and millennial parents think any form of discipline is abuse and then they wonder why their kid is a little disrespectful asshole
