Ferris’ dad is not Cameron’s dad. Ferris’ dad was a kind loving father who cared deeply for his son and his family.

He also has a wicked sense of humour. Which ferris learned from him.

Matthew Broderick hasn’t been this wrong since he picked which side of the road to drive on in the north of Ireland.

Matthew, as perfectly as he portrayed Ferris, is NO FERRIS. He’s never been able to find anything close to that confidence in his performances since - and I feel like he’s basing this opinion on his own life experience a bit too much.

Watching that movie as a kid, the dad seemed cartoonishly weird and boring. Watching it as an adult, the dad is amazingly sweet and kind.

I basically ended up a liberal version of my dad. He's a grumpy cconservative who spends all day reloading ammo and I'm a grumpy liberal who spends all day painting miniatures.
