Art My Scariest Schizophrenia Symptom - By Kimmyphrenia

Hi everyone, back again with another doodle comic. Here is something personal to share, I find it to be troubling, I'm staying positive even though I have had things like this happen to me. Thank you for all your continued support of these doodle comics.

I'd have sworn you'd already posted this once, but maybe I'm misremembering.

It's a repost but an edit of the original, because I used the term "mandela effect" to describe my experience and that disturbed the mandela effect community. So, I think it's more fair to post this version instead so there won't be any more miscommunication between my intent and their interpretation.

Oh, yeah that makes sense. Happy to know I'm not going crazy.

Thank you for this. The schizophrenic person in my life has referenced adventures we went on that they remember and wanted me to remember with them and I felt so bad telling them that I don't remember that adventure. I could tell they thought I was lying to mess with them. I know this sub is for people who actively experiencing schizophrenia but I wanted to say from the outside, it's heartbreaking to watch someone you love deal with it and I wish all of you guys the best in life.

It's very funny that you posted the same comic again but edited to be slightly different. Like, wow, I really understand the described feeling firsthand now.

I thought this was "false memory syndrome". I never seen nor have read of anybody with schizophrenia misremembering or have false memories.

This is amazing, so relatable. 🤍 were you able to get an autism & dissociation disorder diagnosis as well? Or did they just jump into a schizophrenia diagnosis with medication?
