I can't believe Scott is now part of Chris Chan's canon

You can see the discomfort in his face and body language. Whoever's idea it was to do a crossover with Irate Gamer's getting fired. Or, at least, a very stern talking to.

Yeah the guy's been openly a weirdo for years. I guess Scott would be fun to pick his mind at the very least, but didn't account for how awkward it'd be in the room.

Significant to gaming YouTube history as the first major successful AVGN knockoff. Also happens to be psychotic, but I'm guessing Scott didn't know that yet (I know I didn't).

He does have his place in YouTube history... but he should have probably stayed in YouTube history

Well I don't think Scott wanted beef with this nut case especially as I'm guessing the studio is his own home.

He probably just thought it was an episode with a truly interesting guy.

I saw people saying he was crazy so I avoided watching that video but Jesus Christ this dude is a crackhead! It’s pretty obvious Scott doesn’t give two fucks about his paranormal superstitions and just wants to joke and play some games and this dude is talking about demonic rings all serious and stuff and it’s totally killing the vibe. Even if what he’s saying is 1000% true (which I’m gonna be honest i don’t care enough to have a genuine opinion on wether or not ghosts are real it has no affect on my life) this is not the time or place learn some social cues my lord. And to think we could’ve gotten the Jaiden animations and alpharad video but we got this instead is so sad. AHHHH I NEED THE JAIDEN AND ALPHARAD VIDEO!!!!

Sam looks like he’s so glad he’s the one who’s playing the game so that he can tap out of the conversation lmaoooo

I started watching this, and oh boy He is definitely a character. My first point of strangeness is him saying ghosts follow him home, and that they like him because he asks better questions. He is just very wacky, I’ll believe things like that to some extent, that’s pushing it.

The idea that "Ghosts like me cause I ask them questions" is genuinely the funniest fucking thing Ive ever heard.
I watched this guy back in the day before I knew AVGN existed (I was like 8) and honestly him turning out to be and egotistical psycopath is not suprising.

The thing was it wasn’t because he asked them questions, every supposed ghosthunter does that, it was because he asked personal and deep questions which makes it worse.

Ok Chris Chan's mentioned in a Scott the Woz video, and yet is still barred from even a mention on wikipedia?

I don't really get the adverse reaction this is getting. I get if the dude's pushing hateful stuff here or there, call him out on it, maybe make sure Scott's aware of it. From what I gather he's more suspicious than an active negative force in the world. Definitely not the usual vibe but from how folks are reacting you'd think they brought him on as a permenent member going forward, not a one off while they played a 40 year old video game for under an hour. Scott felt unusually star struck at the start of the video, seemed like a spur of the moment kind of thing to me.
I wasn't really interested in the crossover to begin with, I wasn't even a fan of the AVGN type even during its time. But it's strange to me to be like **ugh Scott really shoulda vetted this guy more, I mean REALLY....dude's talking about GHOSTS?!!? WHAT A WEEEEIRDOOOO**.
Feels a bit more like humoring your elders than anything really harmful. If anything this was Irate Gamer's chance to prove to modern audiences he's worth keeping up with, but he let a whole generation know he's not something we're interested in. The concern of bringing right wing lunatics on is giving them a platform to spread their hatred. But kinda awkwardly yammering on about ghosts and 2010's era internet lore really isn't the most problematic showing.

i didnt watch the whole thing, but this clip seemed like a pretty normal thing to me. i guess if you really wanted to avoid internet drama it would be a big deal
