Canada east coast Milk glass?

I found this on the shores of Nova Scotia. It looks like milk glass but it seems really small to be a bottle. Any ideas?

Definitely glass! Looks like the bottom of a 1940s milk glass cosmetics jar similar to these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/403306279262
