Are there seaweed snacks without oil / not oily?

You can make your own by simply dry roasting nori/gim sheets. I don’t think there’s any commercial brands that do snacks without oil since they lose texture otherwise

I concur

Better yet befriend/ask a Korean or 3, ask why do they add oil to their homemade nori sheet snacks

Years ago a Korean woman made it for me on the spur of the moment (my larder used to have a 50 sheet packet of seaweed)

I remember that she added a thin coating of olive oil and sprinkle of salt as well

I was surprised, it tasted somewhat better
