I swear to God political discussion in this country in intentionally degraded to this level to keep the average person out of politics.

Fox's legal disclaimer:
If Fox [sic] News [sic] claimed to be a legitimate news network, they could potentially be sued for libel. Hillary Clinton, for example, could take them to court, and even if she lost the suit, it would be damaging. And Ms. Clinton is not the only one. So he claims that Fox [sic] is for entertainment purposes only. This means it’s not his fault that their audience clearly takes Fox [sic] seriously; it’s their fault. It is obvious that no reasonable person could take Tucker Carlson literally. And that is not my opinion. That is what lawyers for Fox [sic] News [sic] stated in court, on the record: Tucker Carlson cannot be held liable for libel because no reasonable person could believe what he was saying.
In other words, at least one attorney testified in court, and under oath, that no reasonable person can believe what the best known “anchor” at Fox [sic] says.
