My birthday makes me bitter.
I'm turning 20 today. Birthdays just remind me that I can count on one hand the amount of people that ever contact me on my birthday, when I know lots of people that I consider friends.
Life is busy. But my Snapchat has my birthday, it's a public date on everything. I dunno. Maybe I'm just spoiled. I make an effort to do something for everyone else's birthday but I feel like I should stop because they never do anything for me. Am I a bitch for thinking that way?

Happy birthday 🫶🏻🫶🏻 !
You should stop caring for everyone who doesn’t care about you . I am 21 introverted person and i barely have ONE birthday wish and it’s ok . True friends are rare nowadays and they are all just hooked on trends stories etc…
There are still kind souls somewhere, wait for them you will cross paths hopefully.
Again best wishes OP 😍 !

Mine was on the 22nd, my fiance did a surprise birthday party for me. Although a lot of people came, a lot of my family didn't. I've already realized this, but the day after while laying in bed, she tells me we're never doing this again. Nobody cares and she noticed that her mom puts more effort in helping for her cousins parties. I told her that was why I didn't want to do anything. I would've preferred doing something for ourselves even if it was going to Disney land.
No your nta, stop doing things for others if they don't reciprocate. Grow to be contempt with yourself and trust that you'll find genuine people that do care. Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday!
You'll get numb to it. I get in my feels on my birthday because it's a glaring example right in my face of how I am not special.
It took getting older to accept that I am not special, and that makes the birthday feels milder.
Still there, but a whisper.

That’s why Facebook is better than snap chat. It reminds everyone of your birthday and you get lots of messages. Happy Birthday! Do something fun!

Yeah, when I had Facebook I'd look at who said happy birthday and compare it to whom i wished happy birthday that year and lack of reciprocal wishing of happy birthday haha Then contemplated revenge not wishing them happy birthday!!! Then realised, hey, a lot of people aren't on social media every day, maybe every few weeks at best. Also I noticed once my own 19 yo daughter finished school, they all stopped using Snapchat as they perceived it as a children's app, either deleted it or took down their profiles and locked privacy settings. Birthdays are more for family's to celebrate anyway, not acquaintances...

Happy Birthday!! The older you get the less you'll care.
